With the 2013/14 fantasy premier league season 18 days away on August 17 I thought I should outline what we will be doing at fantasy football geek until then
Until about the 12th of August we’ll be concentrating on analysing friendlies with the focus on different teans and also giving you the run down new players coming to fantasy premier league. As well there may be the odd new format article, a Q and A session and a strategy update and even some other things thrown in but the preseason team analysis and new players will be the focus of the coming days. At around the 12th of August we’ll then be starting out “ones to watch” articles giving you the best players in each position for fantasy premier league and seperate Sky Sports fantasy football, Telegraph fantasy football, facebook fantasy premier league football and Sun Dream Team. We’ll be setting out draft teams leading up to the fantasy premier league kick off on the 17th of August where before the deadline our final teams will be given in the various formats.
The reason for that is that until all the pre-season games are done and the majority of transfers are completed then giving you the best players in each position will be changing rapidly with transfers, injuries, form and selection issues making any recommendations quickly out of date. In the transfer window prior to fantasy premier league GW1 things change very quickly.
