Euro 2016 fantasy football tips – Tuesday 21 June
The fixtures
Here’s today’s fixtures from the BBC website:
Team news
Remember for Sun Dream Team and the Telegraph format my interpretation is that you can wait for the lineups an hour before the relevant game to make transfers. You need to do substitutions and captain changes on the McDonalds format before the first game
- Germany – Gotze or Gomes will be the key selection issue for the German team
- Germany – Jerome Boateng, Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil have been booked and could be a rotation risk
- Polish GK Wojciech Szczesny is injured meaning Fabianski will start
- Croatian key midfielder Modric is unlikely to play due to injury and CB Corluka is doubtful
- Spanish CB Ramos has 1 yellow card and could be rotated
- Czech Republic – Rosicky is out. Dockal is doubtful
FFGeek team plans
McDonalds format
I’m staying with Rami as captain
No subs required tonight
The Sun Dream Team
Lewandoski, Morata and Muller are my potential targets but I will only put 2 in the team and leave Ronaldo in place
Telegraph fantasy football
I will take out Sturridge and Lukaku for Lewandoski and Morata
I will confirm my transfers after the lineups are announced for the relevant games but that will only be on twitter so follow me there if you interested @fantasyfoot20 or click here
Some transfer options
Again in Sun Dream Team and Telegraph fantasy Football my interpretation is that you can transfer players at any time before the relevant games kick off. Remember also different formats classify different players in different positions.
Defenders
A German defender – say Hector
A Polish defender – say Glik
A Spanish defender – say Juanfran
Midfield
Ozil – Germany (has a yellow so check he starts)
Gotze – Germany (very important to check he starts)
Grosicki – Poland (just back from an injury so need to check he starts)
Calhangolu – Turkey
Forwards
Muller – Germany
Lewandoski – Poland
Morata – Spain
Stats
