McDonalds
Total points 110. Overall rank 136k no Wildcard or Chips used
So in the round 2 transfers I chose Suarez over Kane which was the wrong decision. Still surprisingly improved rank although it’s still very disappointing
Todays changes
It’s round 3 now. You need to make your round 3 transfer before the first kick off of 3pm UK time
My transfer is going to be Ronaldo in for Suarez. I probably would have taken out Lukaku if I had the funds but the only way I can get Ronaldo is through Suarez.
If you’re looking for stats on potential players for today here are my key articles. Remember though they were done prior to the tournament so you need to see at the very least that they played in Round 1 and 2 before you pick anyone
Here’s the team for today:
Ronaldo, Isco, Treziguet, Hegazy and Godin all playing today
Sun Dream Team
Total points 165 Overall Rank 104k transfers used 11 out of 20
So a reasonable day with the Kane hat trick and moved forward 30k overall but again disappointing.
Firstly here’s a link to my timeline article so you can see the order of teams playing in the Group stages. That may effect your transfer decisions
In retrospect you can transfer a player for a game after the first 1 in a match day as long as the player out’s team hasn’t played on the matchday and the player in’s team hasn’t played on the match day. Here’s the rules which I think I interpreted incorrectly at first. The Sun Live chat have verified it as did some other managers who have used it so it seems safe
An eligible transfer will take immediate effect and will occur if you transfer a Player out for another Player where neither the outgoing Player’s Country nor the incoming Player’s Country have played during that Match Day.

Transfers
No transfers for today. I have Giminez, Carvajal, Isco, Cavani and Ronaldo all playing today.
I have no plans to make a transfer. If I were to, a Portuguese defender or GK would be my choice although no one I want to take out except maybe Pickford
If I change my mind I will at least tweet any transfers probably around 2pm UK time
Here’s the team as of today with yesterdays points.
Telegraph fantasy football
The standard team: Total points 184 Overall Rank 20.3k transfers used 16 out of 26 in Group stage
The Def Block team: Total points 201 Overall Rank 11.1k transfers used 23 out of 26 in Group stage
As I said above, here’s a link to my timeline article so you can see the order of teams playing in the Group stages. That may effect your transfer decisions
In the telegraph you definitely can make transfers between matches.
the standard team
Transfers today will be Ronaldo in for Kane and Portuguese LB Guerreiro in for Trippier. Those are for the late game. I am also thinking of putting Salah in for Kane as well before Ronaldo although whether he plays or not is questionable.
Here’s the team as it stands. I will at least tweet those transfers probably around 6pm UK time or 2pm if I decide to do Salah.
the defensive block team
With only 2 transfers left the block has peaked and it’s all down hill from here. It does have the Spain block tonight though.
Unlikely to be any transfers.
Here’s the team as it stands. If I change my mind I will at least tweet transfers probably around 2pm UK time or 6pm UK time

That’s it good luck today
