Firstly we look at the anytime goal scoring odds of the bookies:
£1.85 – Kane
£2.00 – Aguero
£2.05 – Ibrahimovic
£2.10 – Sturridge
£2.20 – Carroll
£2.25 – Giroud
£2.40 – Vardy, Costa
£2.45 – Llorente, Sanchez, Mane
£2.50 – Rooney
So interesting odds despite a fairly ordinary performance last week

So faith in Aguero here then with Kane a distant 4th
Here’s a few of the others sites summaries. It’s worth noting that site 1 is the site with the most traffic and probably replicates the top 10k FPL managers more than any other site
Top 10 FPL managers
I only have access to 2 of the top 10 FPL managers I’m following. They have both gone for Aguero
I’ve also done a good round of the forums and social media and Aguero seems the choice of most of the FPL managers who have a good history
Summary
Kane the winner in the bookies odds. Aguero a big leader in the polls. The choice of the 1 top FPL manager I follow and the forums etc
The FFGeek choice
Certainly the opening games have pointed the way towards Aguero despite the probably harder fixture. Aguero has looked sharp whereas Ibrahimovic has looked a little static and the team still seem to have some LVG to get out of them yet. Although it’s hard to take much from 1 game Aguero murdered Ibrahimovic in the underlying stats. There’s no real ownership issue with them both having high ownership.
I don’t have Kane so I don’t have to make a decision. It’s hard to be negative given how he performed in the later part of last season. Yes he had a poor Euro’s but so did a number of players. The questions over Janssen playing and Kane moving back are a worry but it seems hard to believe that Pochettino would risk reducing the effectiveness of Kane like that.
So I’m sticking with Aguero.
