fantasy premier league – GW30 – “ones to watch” midfielders over £6.0m

Fantasy Premier League, Player Rankings

Ive changed the format of my fantasy premier league “ones to watch” articles as I thought they were getting a little cumbersome.     I’ve now based it around a table of key stats to make it easier to follow.  Ive put a key at the bottom of the table to show what each column represents although they are in the main the previous stats.  Below the table I’ve shown the next 6 fantasy premier league gameweeks for each player and given a line or 2 on each.

 KEY

1.  Rank.  My order of the players with the best at the top based on the stats

2.  Time per fantasy premier league point scored this year.  This is how many minutes it takes for a Barclays fantasy premier league point to be scored over the course of the season.  The lower the better obviously.

3.  Consistency:  The % of times that the player got a goal or assist   as a % of games played

4.  Last 5 points:  The total points scored in the last 5 games

5.  Last 5 returns:  The number of times that a player has got a goal or an assist in the last 5 games played

6.  Fixture ease ranking:  The link is at the bottom of the article but essentially I’ve ranked all the teams by the ease of the first 6 fixtures.  The team with the best ranking ie 1 will have the easiest next fixtures of any of the fantasy premier league teams over the next 6 games.

7.  I’ve also added how many of the top 10 fantasy premier league managers I’ve followed.

1.  Hazard

No DGW31.  Looks dangerous everytime he gets the ball at the moment.  A player who is a little inconsistent returrning wise but has the ability to get big returns against anyone.  Little set piece involvement but does have penalties when Lampard is off the field

Next 6 fantasy premier league gameweeks:

Aston Villa (A)
Arsenal (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Stoke City (H)
Swansea (A)
Sunderland (H)

2.  YYT

With the injured Ramsey this years midfield revelation.  Question is whether the returns can continue given Aguero has returned for pens and he doesn’t seem to have that magic free kick touch at the moment.  However still churning out the points and the negatives seemed to have been balanced out by the fact that Pellegrini has seen the wisdom of pushing him up at times.

Next 6 fantasy premier league gameweeks:

Hull City (A)
Fulham (H) DGW31
Man Utd (A)  DGW31
Arsenal (A)
Southampton (H)
Liverpool (A)
West Brom (H)

3.  Gerrard

Mr Consistency, even as a CDM,  who keeps returning through set pieces and pens.  No sign of letting up and has Skrtel for free kicks and corners and the pace of Sturridge, Suarez and Sterling to produce pens.

Next 6 fantasy premier league gameweeks:

Man Utd (A)
Cardiff City (A) DGW31
Sunderland (H) DGW31
Tottenham (H)
West Ham (A)
Man City (H)
Norwich (A)

4.  Nolan

A player who’s scoring runs in streaks and you have to get him at the right time.  Does have a good DGW31 though.  Will also have Andy Carroll back who will helps his returns further.

Next 6 fantasy premier league gameweeks:

Stoke City (A)
Man Utd (H)  DGW31
Hull City (H)  DGW31
Sunderland (A)
Liverpool (H)
– Gameweek 34 –
Crystal Palace (H)

5.  Silva

A consistent returner but doesn’t seem to have the ability to score big having only had 2 hauls of 10 points or over.  Good advanced positioning and set piece involvement but has been a little disapointing of late.

Next 6 fantasy premier league gameweeks:

Hull City (A)
Fulham (H) DGW31
Man Utd (A)  DGW31
Arsenal (A)
Southampton (H)
Liverpool (A)
West Brom (H)

6.  Lallana

No DGW31.  The creative hub of the Southampton side who plays centrally in an advanced position and can score and assist.  Last 3 games without returning but still playing well.

Next 6 fantasy premier league gameweeks:

Norwich (H)
Tottenham (A)
Newcastle (H)
Man City (A)
Cardiff City (H)
Aston Villa (A)

7.  Johnson

52% of his points have come in 4 games even though he’s played 25 games this season.  These were in relatively recent games so its just a matter of whether you think he can replicate it.  On his day can be devastating going past people.  Has got a good share of set pieces now as well.

Next 6 fantasy premier league gameweeks:

Crystal Palace (H)
Norwich (A) DGW31
Liverpool (A)  DGW31
West Ham (H)
Tottenham (A)
Everton (H)
Chelsea (A)

8.  Mata

Started reasonably well and is creating chances but not getting into the shooting positions he was at Chelsea.  Also is sharing set pieces with Rooney and maybe RVP after his excellent free kick at WBA.  Good fixtures and DGW31 are the main attractions

Next 6 fantasy premier league GWs:

Liverpool (H)
West Ham (A)  DGW31
Man City (H)  DGW31
Aston Villa (H)
Newcastle (A)
– Gameweek 34 –
Everton (A)

Cazorla

Has the certainty of gametime in the midfield which among the attacking 3 is hard to establish.  Playing well without the returns at the moment.  Tricky fixtures though.
