Fantasy Premier League, fixture ease schedule

Here’s our fantasy premier league best fixtures GW14 article where we outline the teams with the best attacking fixtures coming up from a short and long view. Slightly different format. We talk through some player suggestions rather than a table of stats but continue to produce the next 6 fixtures for each team

FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE BEST FIXTURES GW14 – FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

So, here’s our fantasy premier league best fixtures GW14 article where we analyse the teams with the best 6 and 3 fixtures from GW14. The schedule ranks the teams in terms of easiness of their opponents from an attacking perspective. We also highlight the teams with the best fixtures and make some player suggestions with stats to help you make transfer decisions.

Essentially the team ranked 1 will have the best fixtures and the team ranked 20 will have the hardest fixtures.

Column 1 will focus on the attacking ease of the next 6 fixtures from this gameweek. That gives a rough time frame to look at as you never now how long it will be before you can get someone out of your team. However for a shorter perspective we’ve ranked the next 3 in column 2.

The 2nd schedule takes a longer term view. It analyses the next 6 fixtures also from gameweek 15 and gameweek 16.

The key teams are highlighted in grey

LONGER TERM FIXTURES

BURNLEY

Burnley have good short term fixtures

£6.2m forward Vokes is the only option here for me although at £6.2m he seems a little pricey.  He leads Burnleys total points and points per match tables with 4 goals and an assist in 13 games

Stoke (A)
Bournemouth (H)
West Ham (A)
Spurs (A)
Middlesbrough (H)
Sunderland (H)

SPURS

Spurs have good short term fixtures

£10.8m forward Harry Kane is the number 1 pick for me here.  He leads Spurs in points per match and form with 3 goals in 3 games since he came back from injury.  He also has pens.  In the midfield £8.1m Eriksen and £8.1m Dele Alli are the 2 main choices.  Eriksen has set piece responsibility.  He scored against Chelsea but that was his first return in 5 games.  Alli is more of a goal scorer getting into forward positions.  However 1 assist in his last 4 isn’t a sign of great form.  I haven’t included HM Son as Lamelas potential return may cause some gametime risk

Swansea (H)
Man Utd (A)
Hull (H)
Burnley (H)
Southampton (A)
Watford (A)

CHELSEA

Chelsea have good long term fixtures

£10.6m forward Diego Costa has taken the role of Mr Consistency this season returning a goal or assist in an incredible 11/13 games.  £10.2m Hazard equals Aguero for the best 6.8 points per match record  (discounting YYT”s 2 games).  £7.3m Pedro is the cheaper midfield version  and although he can’t match Hazard for overall returns only Hazard and Phillips of WBA have better form stats of all midfielders.  Man City next though gives some breathing space before WBA as an entry point.

Man City (A)
West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Crystal Palace (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Stoke (H)

WEST HAM

£9.2m midfielder Payet for me is the only option even if it is only 1 assist in his last 4.  He has the best per minute creating chances stats in the league but no one who can reliably finish them off.  The entry point though isn’t until GW16

 Arsenal (H)
Liverpool (A)
Burnley (H)
Hull (H)
Swansea (A)
Leicester (A)

SWANSEA

Swansea have great long term fixtures

As I said last week the only attacking player worth having here is the CAM come false 9 midfielder £7.3m Sigurdsson. He’s got 2 goals and 3 assists in the last 4 games returning a goal or assist in all 4 of them and has all set piece responsibility. He is top of Swansea’s FPL tables for total points, points per match and form. Away to Spurs though is a tricky entry point.  £5.0m Midfielder Leroy Fer got 2 tap ins against Palace to make it an impressive 6 goals in 13 games for the season.  It’s on the basis of no underlying stats and playing in the less advanced midfield role.  It’s just whether he’s lucky or has a knack. Why £6.1m forward Llorente doesn’t start is beyond me.  2 goals and an assist against Palace may trigger that.  His underlying stats are quite good.  Maybe worth seeing if he starts against Spurs

Spurs (A)
Sunderland (H)
West Brom (A)
Middlesbrough (A)
West Ham (H)
Bournemouth (H)
