FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE BEST FIXTURES GW27 – FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

Fantasy Premier League, fixture ease schedule

Here’s our fantasy premier league best fixtures GW27 article where we rank the teams with the easiest fixtures for the weeks ahead from an attacking perspective.

FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE BEST FIXTURES GW27 – FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

BACKGROUND – BLANK AND DOUBLE GAMEWEEKS

Potential DGW27

For the schedule I have assumed that Man City win their FA Cup replay at home to Huddersfield on the 1st March which will give a DGW27 with fixtures away to Sunderland and home to Stoke.  If Man City lose then the fixture will stay in GW28 and they will not have a DGW.

GW28

GW28 is FA Cup quarter final week. Games involving teams in the quarters will be postponed leading to a much reduced fixture list. In fact only 4 confirmed at the moment

Here’s the GW28 fixtures as per the FPL website at the moment:

As I said above if Man City win their FA Cup replay on the 1 March the fixture will be moved to GW27.  If they lose it will stay in GW28.

FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

Here’s the schedule where we rank the teams with the easiest fixtures for the 6 gameweeks and 3 gameweeks ahead from an attacking perspective.

The next schedule looks at the fixtures for 6 gameweeks on from GW27. In the schedules I have assumed that Man City win their replay and have no fixture in GW28 with it being brought forward to GW27 as announced. That means Stoke and Man City will have a DGW27 and they are marked in orange.  See my focus article on Man City in the last gameweek.

The fixtures highlighted in green are those with confirmed fixtures in GW28.  Those in grey on the 2nd schedule are those teams with good long and short term fixtures

The second schedule gives long term view up to GW33.  GW34 is a likely venue for a DGW so I’ve stopped the schedule short of that.

SO WHAT DOES THE SCHEDULE TELL US?

In the short term those teams with the best fixtures that cover GW28 are Swansea, West Ham, Hull and Burnley.  Once the blank week of GW28 is over,  of those teams Swansea and West Ham are the teams with the best fixtures.  That would suggest SwanseaWest Ham and Everton of the teams are the best teams to cover for the blank GW28 purely from a fixture point of view. Everton’s scheduled is messed up to some extent by the Spurs away fixture next.

So what teams should you endeavour to hold.  You can see that from the fixtures from GW29 onwards so the blanks don’t distort it.  The 2 obvious ones are Spurs and Watford.  We’ll concentrate on those 5 teams above in this article

ATTACKING PLAYER SUGGESTIONS

SWANSEA

2 players to consider. £7.6m LAM Sigurdsson (Points per Match) 5.0 is the top pick. He has set piece responsibility direct and indirect and also has pens. He’s also returned in each of his last 4 games with 2 goals and 3 assists. The other option is £6.2m fwd Llorente (PPM 4.0). He broke his run of 3 consecutive blanks  with his goal against Chelsea.

Fixtures up to and including GW33:

Burnley (H)
Hull (A)
Bournemouth (A)
Middlesbrough (H)
Spurs (H)
West Ham (A)
Watford (A)

WEST HAM

I’ve gone for 2 players here in £6.2m forward Carroll (PPG 3.9) assuming he is fit for GW27. He’s got 4 goals in his last 4 fixtures.  Secondly there’s new acquisition £5.8m mid Snodgrass (PPM 4.5) who should take a big role in set pieces and is playing very forward. In the last 4 he’s only got 1 assist though.

I’ve not gone for Antonio who’s suspended for the next gameweek.  I’ve also not counted Lanzini and Feghouli as I’m a little worried one of them will be the sacrificed for Carroll when he returns and Antonio is also on the pitch.

West Ham have great fixtures apart from 2 up to an including GW33

Chelsea (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Leicester (H)
Hull (A)
Arsenal (A)
Swansea (H)
Sunderland (A)

EVERTON

2 players here.  £10.0m forward Lukaku (PPG 5.9) is the obvious target here.  He’s got 5 goals in his last 4 games including 4 at home to Bournemouth.  The other target is £7.1m midfielder Ross Barkley (PPG 4.0) .  He’s been playing centrally and quite advanced although only 1 goal and 1 assist in one of his last 4 games.  He also has a reasonable share of set piece duties.  Some good fixtures but a few tricky ones to GW33

Spurs (A)
West Brom (H)
Hull (H)
Liverpool (A)
Man Utd (A)
Leicester (H)
Burnley (H)

SPURS

3 attacking options here.  Firstly there’s £11.3m forward Harry Kane (PPG 6.6) who has 4 goals and an assit in his last 4 including a hat trick and an assit in the last round against Stoke.  He also has pens.  Then there’s the £8.7m RAM set piece taker midfielder Eriksen (PPG 5.7).  The 2 assists in his last game at home to Stoke were his first in the last 4.  Lastly there’s the £8.8m LAM midfielder Dele Alli (PPG 5.7).  His goal against Stoke was his first return in the last 4.  Fixtures after the blank couldn’t be much better and if you’re holding Spurs assets you might want to try and hold them or have a buy back plan

Everton (H)
Blank GW28
Southampton (H)
Burnley (A)
Swansea (A)
Watford (H)
Bournemouth (H)

WATFORD

Only £6.8m forward Deeney (PPM 4.0) here.  It’s 3 goals in his last 4 return in 3 of the games.  He also has pens.  Good fixtures apart from Spurs and Chelsea.  Taking up a forward slot in your FPL team maybe a tricky ask though

Southampton (H)
Chelsea (A)
Crystal Palace (A)
Sunderland (H)
West Brom (H)
Spurs (A)
Swansea (H)
