FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE BEST FIXTURES GW30 ONWARDS – THE FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

An introduction

Firstly you will find it easier to make positive use of this article if you’ve read my latest blanks and double gameweeks article.

The whole premise of blanks and double gameweeks is UEFA’s refusal to allow any games on when European fixtures are played midweek. Everything assumes that continues.

The schedule explained

The order of the teams firstly is the best attacking fixtures for GW30-31. That’s up to and including the potential blank GW31. There’s a further column identifying which teams have fixtures in that gameweek 31.

The next column shows the fixtures up to but not including the potential double gameweek 34 and a further column showing which teams would have a potential double gameweek fixture. You’ll find that useful if you’re planning on free hitting in GW31 and or if you don’t have a 2nd wildcard and need to plan the transfer in of double gameweek players.

PLAYER SUGGESTIONS

Remember only attacking player suggestions here.

HUDDERSFIELD

£5.7m forward Mounie is the only option for me and he finally seems to have established his spot with his third successive 90 minute appearance which have generated 2 goals and 2 assists. Overall it’s 14 starts plus 5 as sub with 6 goals and 2 assists at a points per 90 mins of 5.1. He seems ok with the bonus system so far with 11.

Swansea (H)
Crystal Palace (H)
Newcastle (A)
Brighton (A)

Everton

Only £7.2m Mid Walcott here for me.  He has blanked for 4 successive games after starting brightly with a goal and 2 assists in his first 3 games.  He has produced decent underlying stats though in 4 of the 6 starts he’s made and how he didn’t score v Burnley is beyond me.

I am a fan of Sigurdsson but he’s just not showing enough for me underlying stats wise at the moment.  New forward signing Tosun started for the first time in 5 matches and scored.  I’d personally like to see him start again before diving in.  However in all cases Brighton at home is a good game to gamble.

Brighton (H)
Stoke (A)
Man City (H)
Liverpool (H)

WBA

£5.0m Mid Chris Brunt started against Watford and if I was going to roll the WBA dice he would be my choice with his set piece responsibility and  the defenders ability score score from them.  He’s started 13 games plus 4 as sub.  He hasn’t scored but got 6 assists.

 Leicester (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Burnley (H)
Swansea (H)

Bournemouth

So for me only £5.9m Mid Junior Stanislas.  He’s started the last 5 after injury and more importantly it’s been 90 minutes in the last 2.  That 6 game spell (first 1 as sub) has seen 2 goals and 2 assists.  Over the season it’s 14 starts plus 2 as sub with 3 goals and 3 assists.  He has been inconsistent though only returning in 4 of those games.  The 5 recent starts have only seen 2 good lots of underlying stats all of which means it may be a bit of a roller coaster.

Tricky fixture next

Spurs (H)
West Brom (H)
Watford (A)
Crystal Palace (H)

LIVERPOOL

Here you’re going for the front 3 of Firmino as a forward and Salah and Mane as Mids

£9.4m forward Firmino has 13 goals and 8 assists in 25 starts plus 3 as sub at points per 90 mins of 6.6 . The FPL bonus metric loves him with 26 bonus points to date

£10.5m Mid Salah has 24 goals and 10 assists in 26 starts plus 2 sub appearances at a points per 90 of 9.6. Despite the last 2 games with no bonus he has been doing alright with 23 so far.

£9.4m Mid Mane has 8 goals and 5 assists in 20 starts plus 1 sub appearances at a points per 90 of 6.1. In contrast to the other 2 the bonus system hates him with only 6 to date.  The last 2 games with successive goals saw no bonus points.

 Man Utd (A)
Watford (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Everton (A)

Stoke

Only £6.3m Mid Shaqiri.  26 starts plus 1 sub appearance for 7 goals and 6 assists at a points per 90 of 4.9.  4 of those goals have been outside the box which is equal with Coutinho and De Bruyne which does give you some question of sustainability.  However he has benefited from an advanced position and set pieces under the new manager.  Underlying stats are distinctly ordinary and no upturn recently to mirror his upturn in returns.

Difficult fixture next

Man City (H)
Everton (H)
Arsenal (A)
Spurs (H)
