Costa

Sometimes I think it’s worth selling him just to not have to go through the will he won’t he play saga every week.  However 9 goals in 7 games and the highest points per game stat make him a very hard player to ignore.  Thats even before the 54% ownership which will have a double negative effect on your ranking when he’s captain if you do jettison him.  Oh amd by the way he’s about to play the worst away defence in the league.  A team thats never conceded less than 2 away  has conceded 4 twice.  I’m saying this on the basis that he will play.  That despite Mourinho’s words is not certain, not by a long chalk given the history this season.

QPR (H)
Liverpool (A)
West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Newcastle (A)

Aguero

Couldn’t have done anymore without scoring against West Ham, incredibly unlucky.  The best shooting stats of any forward and the last few games have seen a return to him creating chances.  A quality captain option for any game if you don’t own Costa.  Fixtures a little mixed.  Has pens

Man Utd (H)
QPR (A)
Swansea (H)
Southampton (A)
Sunderland (A)
Everton (H)

Pelle

Great record so far, great underlying stats and great recent form.  Still a few good fixtures before they go horribly wrong

Hull (A)
Leicester (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Man City (H)
Arsenal (A)
Man Utd (H)

Sakho

It’s hard to believe that a French 2nd division player could have made such an impact on the premier league.  5 goals and 1 assist in 6 games, returning in every start is incredible.  Only hasn’t returned in the 1 sub appearance.  It’s no fluke either as his underlying shooting stats are excellent.  Now the fixtures get better as well although Stoke away next could be easier.  A late fitness test  for a shoulder injury is the concern.

Stoke (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Everton (A)
Newcastle (H)
West Brom (A)
Swansea (H)

Cisse

A knee injury means he’s subject to a late fitness test for the home game to Liverpool.  Has come back from injury in spectacular style with 4 goals and an assist in 4 games.  It’s just which Cisse is it?  The one that scored 2 goals last season or the one that scored 13 in less minutes in 2011/12.  It’s a limited data set but the underlying shooting stats are good.  Fixtures are mixed

Liverpool (H)
West Brom (A)
QPR (H)
West Ham (A)
Burnley (A)
Chelsea (H)

Berahino

Has now scored in 4 consecutive games.  Has ok shooting stats and 2 great fixtures next even though after that they’re not great.  Just keeps scoring.   Also has pens.

Leicester (A)
Newcastle (H)
Chelsea (A)
Arsenal (H)
West Ham (H)
Hull (A)

Lukaku

After a pretty ordinary start he’s now scored in 2 consecutive games.  Underlying stats plus some mixed fixtures make him a gamble but has the talent to succeed/

Swansea (H)
Sunderland (A)
West Ham (H)
Spurs (A)
Hull (H)
Man City (A)

Bony

In great form having scored in 3 consecutive games.  Also has pens and excellent underlying stats.  It’s just that the next 3 fixtures are horrible. Bony has a history though of scoring against anyone.

Everton (A)
Arsenal (H)
Man City (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
QPR (H)
West Ham (A)

Welbeck

For all the potential of leading the Arsenal line and the creativity behind him it’s still only 2 goals and an assist and 2 returning games in 6.  However if you’re ever going to do a transfer at home to Burnley is the time to do it.  Very good underlying shooting and creating chances stats give hope

Burnley (H)
Swansea (A)
Man Utd (H)
West Brom (A)
Southampton (H)
Stoke (A)

Adebayor

Has been in pretty ordinary form this season thats for sure in actual and underlying stats.  This is merely a fixture gamble where there are 4 reasonable fixtures of the 6.

Hull (A)
Everton (H)
Chelsea (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
