Costa
Don’t you get sick of this will he won’t he play stuff? Apparently has “a little chance” of playing against United in GW9. How much you can rely on Mourinho’s words is another question. A top performance so far this season with 9 goals in 7 games. No assists but has the best creating chances stats of any striker and very good shooting stats. Pretty good fixtures
Man Utd (A)
QPR (H)
Liverpool (A)
West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Aguero
Incredible 4 goal performance against Spurs continues his amazing form. 9 goals in 7 starts and 2 sub appearances. The best underlying shooting stats of any striker. Fixtures are a bit mixed but fixtures matter little to Aguero. Has pens as we saw last weekend
West Ham (A)
Man Utd (H)
QPR (A)
Swansea (H)
Southampton (A)
Sunderland (A)
Pelle
Continued his great form with 2 goals and an assist in the 8-0 hammering of Sunderland. Now 6 goals and 2 assists in 8 games. Fantastic underlying stats prove it’s no fluke. Still 4 good fixtures before they get trickier
Stoke (H)
Hull (A)
Leicester (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Man City (H)
Arsenal (A)
Falcao
A goal and 2 assists in 3 starts and 2 sub appearances is ok but could be better considering the fixtures and his talent and pedigree. Fixtures get far harder including Chelsea and Man City next. Good overall underlying stats
Chelsea (H)
Man City (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Arsenal (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (H)
Cisse
2 tricky fixtures before a good run of 4 might make the buying of Cisse a deferral for a couple of games if you’re that way inclined. After that they’re very strong. Started with very good shooting stats. Still a bit early to work out if this is the Cisse that scored 2 goals last season or the one that scored 13 goals on less games 2 seasons before that.
Spurs (A)
Liverpool (H)
West Brom (A)
QPR (H)
West Ham (A)
Burnley (A)
Sakho
What a start the West Ham striker has made. 4 goals and 2 assists in his 6 appearances and scoring in 4 consecutive games. Has very good shooting stats if not creating chances. Fixtures are mixed and possibly not the best time to buy before Man City at home
Man City (H)
Stoke (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Everton (A)
Newcastle (H)
West Brom (A)
Lukaku
A goal against Villa after 2 consecutive blanks but it’s been a relatively slow start. Certainly nothing in the way of underling stats. It’s basically a fixture play as Everton have a good run of fixtures
Burnley (A)
Swansea (H)
Sunderland (A)
West Ham (H)
Spurs (A)
Hull (H)
Berahino
After blanking in 4 consecutive games has now scored 4 goals in 3 games. Ok shooting stats but also has pens and 3 very good games next
Crystal Palace (H)
Leicester (A)
Newcastle (H)
Chelsea (A)
Arsenal (H)
West Ham (H)
Welbeck
Very popular with the top 10 FPL managers but only has an ok premier league record for Arsenal. It’s more about his value and the potential as an Arsenal striker given the midfield creativity behind him. He does also have pretty good overall shooting and creating chances stats though
Sunderland (A)
Burnley (H)
Swansea (A)
Man Utd (H)
West Brom (A)
Southampton (H)
Bony
After just a single assist in his first 6 games it’s 2 goals in 2 games for the Swansea Striker. Good underlying stats. A mixture of good and tough games. Has pens.
Leicester (H)
Everton (A)
Arsenal (H)
Man City (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
QPR (H)
