fantasy premier league best midfielders DGW37 – “ones to watch” midfielders over £6m

Fantasy Premier League, Player Rankings

Fantasy premier league best midfielders over £6m for DGW37.   The article is based it around a table of key stats.  I’ve put a key at the bottom of the table to show what each column represents although they are in the main the previous stats.  Below the table I’ve shown the next  fantasy premier league fixtures for each player to the end of the season and given a line or 2 on each.  It’s worth reading the information on each player as they all have some quirk relating to gametime or such like.  I haven’t done a top 10 FPL managers this week so excuse the blank here.

 KEY

1.  Rank.  My order of the players with the best at the top based on the stats

2.  Time per fantasy premier league point scored this year.  This is how many minutes it takes for a Barclays fantasy premier league point to be scored over the course of the season.  The lower the better obviously.

3.  Consistency:  The % of times that the player got a goal or assist   as a % of games played

4.  Last 5 points:  The total points scored in the last 5 games

5.  Last 5 returns:  The number of times that a player has got a goal or an assist in the last 5 games played

6.  Fixture ease ranking:  The link is at the bottom of the article but essentially I’ve ranked all the teams by the ease of the first 6 fixtures.  The team with the best ranking ie 1 will have the easiest next fixtures of any of the fantasy premier league teams over the next 6 games.

7.  I’ve also added how many of the top 10 fantasy premier league managers I’ve followed.

1.  YYT

Showed how he could rack up the points without free kicks or pens with a goal and an assist against Palace.  Difficult to resist with his DGW37 next.  Will have pens when Aguero is off the field

DGW37
Everton (A)  DGW37
Aston Villa (H)  DGW37
West Ham (H)

2.  Eriksen

A blank away to Stoke but has been in great form recently.  Good share of set pieces and has a brilliant delivery.
West Ham (A)
Aston Villa (H)

3.  Mata

2 goals off the bench against Norwich when he played as vitually a support striker. Should start after that performance.   Hard to ignore as the only realistic attacking midfielder for Uniteds DGW37.

DGW37

Sunderland (H)  DGW37
Hull City (H)  DGW37
Southampton (A)

4.  Nasri

1 assist in the game away at Palace continues ok form as the attacking midfield force with Silva away.  No set piece representation

DGW37
Everton (A)  DGW37
Aston Villa (H)  DGW37
West Ham (H)

5. Ramsey

A quiet game blanking against Newcastle at home after the 16 point haul at Hull.  Has been a revelation as a box to box midfielder this season.  Good fixture next plus a potentially tricky game at Norwich.

West Brom (H)
Norwich (A)

6.  Gerrard

A CDM with pens and set pieces as his only realistic chances of returning.  2 games without a return now though.  Does have Newcastle last for anyone thinking of selling
Crystal Palace (A)
Newcastle (H)

7.  Sterling

Great value and in good form as the recently installed centrally advanced midfielder in the Liverpool team.

Crystal Palace (A)
Newcastle (H)

8.  Ozil

Showed his top form creating chances and shooting in the home against Newcastle.  Flat track bullying poor opponents at home really is his forte.

West Brom (H)
Norwich (A)

9.  Coutinho

Blanked at home to Chelsea after having a reasonable run.  Has some corners but relies on an attacking position. Has had real conversion problems with his shooting.
Crystal Palace (A)
Newcastle (H)

10.  Willian

Any Chelsea midfielder apart from maybe Hazard has rotation issues and Willian is no exception.  However,  started 3 games before being rested for the Liverpool match. However £7.5m is a cheap value for a Chelsea attacking midfielder.  He also has 2 excellent fixtures.     Now has a big share of set pieces if Lampard is injured which is a big advantage with Terry and Ivanovic in the side.

Norwich (H)
Cardiff City (A)

11.  Cazorla

Disappointing season but has returned 3 assists consecutively as has a good home game next.
West Brom (H)
Norwich (A)

I’ve not included Hazard as I thought he struggled a little after coming back from injury and may not start.
