As I said above there’s a table where I’ve ranked the players but there’s a load of stats to help you make your own decision.  There’s also a key below the table to explain the stats and then some narrative on the player plus the next 6 fixtures.

Sanchez

Scored for Chile against Uruguay to continue his fantastic form.  You can see that his last 4 points are so far ahead of anyone else it’s incredible.  Also no one has scored a bigger percentage of 10+ points in their games so far and only Fabregas has been more consistent in returning a goal or assist.  He’s just on fire.  The only negatives are fixtures which could be better and the potential dilution of his role that Walcott could produce.  It’s all not built on sand either.  No midfielder has better overall underlying shooting or creating chances stats either over the season or the last 4 games.  Also playing as a striker virtually in 4-4-2.

Next 6 fixtures

Man Utd (H)
West Brom (A)
Southampton (H)
Stoke (A)
Newcastle (H)
Liverpool (A)

Hazard

Has been brilliant or fairly quiet in games but hasn’t really got the returns his form has deserved.  Unlike last year he just can’t seem to produce the big hauls.  His underlying stats have continued to be good with regard to shooting but just hasn’t had the added string to his bow of creating chances.  Has pens which is a big advantage in this Chelsea team.  Good fixtures to come starting with WBA at home

West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Newcastle (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (A)

Downing

Incredible to think that he could be in this position isn’t it.  However playing as a CAM has really helped his returns and he is now facing some good fixtures although they probably start after the Everton game this week.  His underlying stats in the last 4 game weeks have been sensational suggesting this could really be a good time to buy.  He is doubtful for the Everton trip.

Everton (A)
Newcastle (H)
West Brom (A)
Swansea (H)
Sunderland (A)
Leicester (H)

Chadli

Everton and Chelsea in the next 3 aren’t exactly helpful but if you can hold out until after that it looks good.  2 goals in his last 2 games has kept the incredible run this season going.  However the man with the best shooting stats over the seaon for midfielders has seen a big drop in his shooting stats over the last 4 games despite scoring in the last 2 games.  Certainly seems to be keeping his overall central position and getting forward it’s just whether the Spurs malaise is also getting to him.

Hull (A)
Everton (H)
Chelsea (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Swansea (A)
Burnley (H)

Siggy

Just when many were getting the wobbles on him due to fixtures and the fact that he hadn’t scored since GW1 he goes and puts away an absolutely fantastic free kick against Arsenal.  Were now only Man City away from Palace and QPR at home.  No underlying stats whatsover, its all about his CAM positioning and how he is the focal point for creativity in that team.  Also his dominance of set pieces also helps

Man City (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
QPR (H)
West Ham (A)
Spurs (H)
Hull (A)

Di Maria

Like Siggy he’s also only Arsenal away from 2 good home games against Hull and Stoke.  Is an injury doubt but seems confident he will play in GW12 but does need monitoring.  Did get some negative words from LVG after the Palace game but does have the quality to get big hauls despite what was a disappointing performance in that game.  Good underlying shooting and creating chances stats.

Arsenal (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (H)
Southampton (A)
Liverpool (H)
Aston Villa (A)

Oscar

26 points in his last 4 games plus 6 consecutive starts in the central attacking position have brought him on to everyones radars.  Add to that some great fixtures coming up in a team that is scoring at will and you have a viable option.  Does have reasonable shooting stats as well.

West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Newcastle (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (A)

Tadic

Is an injury doubt so needs monitoring for the Villa game which is the last game for Southampton before the fixtures go horribly wrong.  Bizzare scoring pattern where apart from a haul of 23 he’s never scored more than 6 points.  Southamptons Fabregas in that he only creates chances rather than gets shooting chances.  Does play further up the field than Fabregas to be fair though.  Big leap of faith to think he can continue scoring with the fixtures when he’s only really had 1 big haul so far this season

Aston Villa (A)
Man City (H)
Arsenal (A)
Man Utd (H)
Burnley (A)
Everton (H)
Crystal Palace (A)

Sterling

Being sold in absolute hatfuls.  It’s not surprising given that he’s been shunted out on the wing and not scored since GW6.  The injury of Sturridge will also not help in that none of the other strikers have even scored in the premier league making creating chances a total waste of time..  Underlying stats in the last 4 gameweeks have fallen off a cliff.  Still the next 3 fixtures couldn’t be much better so if you are holding him now is not the time to sell

Crystal Palace (A)
Stoke (H)
Leicester (A)
Sunderland (H)
Man Utd (A)
Arsenal (H)

Fabregas

The most consistent returner of the fantasy premier league midfielders.  While the underlying stats shows he creates chances his position has shown little shot threat which has been evidenced by him only scoring once.  Good fixtures to come though.  Is a supposed injury doubt after not playing in the international break but if you ask Del Bosque he will say he will be a certainty to lineup in GW12

West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Newcastle (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (A)
