As I said above there’s a table where I’ve ranked the players but there’s a load of stats to help you make your own decision.  There’s also a key below the table to explain the stats and then some narrative on the player plus the next 6 fixtures.

Sanchez

Played slightly deeper and wider for his first blank after 4 games of scintillating returns.  Was still a good performance and his Champions League goal against Dortmund showed it looks to be only temporary.  Leads the midfield stats in every department as well as having possibly the best overall underlying shooting and creating chances stats.  Fixtures could be better but certainly not the worst

West Brom (A)
Southampton (H)
Stoke (A)
Newcastle (H)
Liverpool (A)
QPR (H)

Hazard

His second double figure haul in 3 games shows the ultimate homer falt track bully is back in town.  Really looks the part and has very good shooting stats even if he’s not creating chances like last season.  Good fixtures, especially the home games.  Has pens.

Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Newcastle (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (A)
West Ham (H)

Di Maria

If he hadn’t missed the 1 on 1 with GK Martinez it would have been another double figure haul for the Argentinian.  Played as a striker or even further forward than a striker if thats possible although that appeared to be a particular tactic for the Arsenal game.  Great underlying stats.  The big attraction is 2 excellent home games next.  Has most set pieces.

Hull (H)
Stoke (H)
Southampton (A)
Liverpool (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Newcastle (H)

Chadli

Injured at the moment but hopeful of being fit for the weekend.  Been a revelation in a very forward midfield role.  Excellent shooting stats even if he doesn’t create chances for others.  Next 2 fixtures aren’t the best but after that they couldn’t be better

Everton (H)
Chelsea (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Swansea (A)
Burnley (H)
Leicester (A)

Siggy

A quiet game was not exactly unexpected away to City but it’s been an excellent season for the Swansea CAM who has been the creative hub of the team.  No real underlying stats to back him up but he does have the lion share of set pieces to fall back on.  The attraction like Di Maria is 2 excellent home fixtures next

Crystal Palace (H)
QPR (H)
West Ham (A)
Spurs (H)
Hull (A)
Aston Villa (H)

Oscar

An assist in the game against WBA added to his 3 goals and an assist in the 6 games before that.  The CAM has excellent shooting stats and some good fixtures on the way.

Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Newcastle (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (A)
West Ham (H)

Fabregas

Just when a few FPL managers started losing faith with the dribble (albeit consistent dribbles) of returns baseed on assists he returned with a 9 point haul.  Really has been the Mr Consistency of the midfielders this season.  Plays a little deep but creates enough chances to keep the score board ticking over even if there is very little shots in the box going on.  Good fixtures on the way.

Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Newcastle (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (A)
West Ham (H)

Sterling

Another game, another blank for the man losing owners a rate of knots.  It’s now 1 assist in his last 4 games as he’s shunted out on the wing and with no Sturridge to finish off the dinishing chances he does create.  The underlying stats have also dropped off significantly so the slump is nothing to be ignored.  The fixtures are the attraction as the next 3 are very very good.

Stoke (H)
Leicester (A)
Sunderland (H)
Man Utd (A)
Arsenal (H)
Burnley (A)

YYT

It’s like an old friend walking through the door.  YYT is back in the game with a 10 point haul after 4 games with only an assist.  The Silva injury has seen him more involved in the attacking play and the shooting stats have really improved recently.  Unfortunately away to Southampton next may not be the best time to buy but there are 3 good fixtures at the back of the 6

Southampton (A)
Sunderland (A)
Everton (H)
Leicester (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
West Brom (A)

Downing

A big let down when he didn’t play away against Everton at the weekend.  His returns are pretty spasmodic although he has benefitted from playing as a CAM in a rejuvenated attacking team with 2 on form strikers.  Has ok creating chances stats and has recently seen a big improvement in his shooting stats.  5 good fixtures until they face Chelsea.  Still an injury monitor

Newcastle (H)
West Brom (A)
Swansea (H)
Sunderland (A)
Leicester (H)
Chelsea (A)
