Here’s some narrative on the players prospects in both the above  ands the next 6 fixtures

Silva

Playing centrally where he can be the most effective.  It will be interesting to see how the effect of De Bruyne has on his returns

Crystal Palace (A)
West Ham (H)
Spurs (A)
Newcastle (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Man Utd (A)

YYT

Started in great form even in the 2 of 4-2-3-1 he’s a danger going forward.  No underlying shooting or creating chances stats mean nothing historically.

Crystal Palace (A)
West Ham (H)
Spurs (A)
Newcastle (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Man Utd (A)

Mahrez

Has started in stupendous form with 4 goals in his first game.  Also looks to have pens.  Has an injury which is expected to be ok by the time of GW5.  Owned by all 10 of the top FPL managers I follow.  Very good shooting stats to back up the returns

Aston Villa (H)
Stoke (A)
Arsenal (H)
Norwich (A)
Southampton (A)
Crystal Palace (H)

Sterling

1 goal and 1 assist in his first 4.  Did move up front for part of the Watford game which was an interesting development.

Crystal Palace (A)
West Ham (H)
Spurs (A)
Newcastle (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Man Utd (A)

Pedro

Great start with a goal and 2 assists in his first 2 games.  Excellent underlying shooting and creating chances stats as well.  Everything Hazard doesn’t have at the moment and £2m cheaper

Everton (A)
Arsenal (H)
Newcastle (A)
Southampton (H)
Aston Villa (H)
West Ham (A)

Sanchez

Only 1 assist in his first 4 games. Has the best shooting stats though of any midfielder and given his quality hard to see it won’t come right

Stoke (H)
Chelsea (A)
Leicester (A)
Man Utd (H)
Watford (A)
Everton (H)

Hazard

Couldn’t have started any worse for last seasons player of the year.  Only 1 assist in his first 4 games and very little shooting stats to show it isn’t just bad luck.  Has pens and form of the last 2 seasons has been fantastic.  It’s all about whether you believe his class will ultimately show through

Everton (A)
Arsenal (H)
Newcastle (A)
Southampton (H)
Aston Villa (H)
West Ham (A)

De Bruyne

Great record for Wolsburg last season.  Will probably play on the right of the attacking midfield 3 in 4-2-3-1.  Basic stats are in this article below

Here’s some narrative on the players prospects in both the above  ands the next 6 fixtures

Andre Ayew

3 goals in his first 4 games against good opposition is an impressive start.  Good shooting stats to back it up.  Played as a support striker in the later part of the game against Man Utd.  Good record for Marseille last season

Southampton (A)
Spurs (H)

Redmond

2 goals and an assist to start the season is a pretty impressive start for the Norwich winger.  Has good fixtures to come but it would be a big change of fortune if it were to continue

Bournemouth (H)
Liverpool (A)
West Ham (A)
Leicester (H)
Newcastle (A)
West Brom (H)

Sako

The Crystal Palace attacking midfielders start of 2 goals and an assist is incredibly impressive especially as 1 of the games was against Chelsea.  Great shooting stats as well to back it up.  Probably worth waiting until after the Man City game although the way Palace is playing anything is possible

Man City (H)
Spurs (A)
Watford (A)
West Brom (H)
West Ham (H)
Leicester (A)

Shaqiri

The Stoke winger/attacking midfielder has got off to an ok start with an assist in his first 2 games.  He does have a good deal of set piece responsibility and good fixtures to come plus a strong pedigree

Arsenal (A)
Leicester (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Swansea (A)
Watford (H)

Lens

The Sunderland winger has 3 assists and a goal in his first 4 games in a pretty ordinary team.

Payet

The West Ham attacking midfielder got off to a  good start with a goal and an assist in his first 2 games but then somehow no returns in 6 goals scored in the last 2 games.  Not much in the way of underlying stats to explain it either.  However his quality has been evident with Marseille.
