Here’s some narrative on the players prospects in both the above  ands the next 6 fixtures

Silva

The Man City attacking midfielder has a great central position, fixtures and form.  Plus a proven FPL player.  Only shadows are the shooting stats which aren’t great and the prospect of rotation now were in a time frame for European games.

West Ham (H)
Spurs (A)
Newcastle (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Man Utd (A)
Norwich (H)

Mahrez

The Leicester attacking midfielder has been the sensation of the season so far.  Also has the underlying shooting and creating chances stats to show it’s been no fluke.  A must have at the moment

Stoke (A)
Arsenal (H)
Norwich (A)
Southampton (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
West Brom (A)

Sanchez

The Arsenal attacking midfielder is a world class quality player who you have to believe will come right.  The difference between him and Hazard is that Sanchez has the best shooting stats of any midfielder.  Hazard has none to give you hope.  Hit the post twice last week.

Chelsea (A)
Leicester (A)
Man Utd (H)
Watford (A)
Everton (H)
Swansea (A)

Sterling

It’s just a matter of who the 3 Man City players you have in your team are at the moment.  Plays in an advanced role (has even played as a striker for part of 1 game).  His pace means that he offers something different so maybe less likely to be rotated

West Ham (H)
Spurs (A)
Newcastle (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Man Utd (A)
Norwich (H)

Shaqiri

A fixture punt here as the Stoke midfielder comes with a big reputation but not showing much for it in recent years.  Has started very slowly in Stokes colours and his underlying shooting stats are ok at best.  A punt on reputation and fixtures.

Leicester (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Swansea (A)
Watford (H)
Newcastle (A)

YYT

Great start to the season for the man with something to prove after last season.  No underlying stats but thats no problem.  This is all about whether you think he can perform from a deep starting position.  Like all Man City players has a rotation threat.

West Ham (H)
Spurs (A)
Newcastle (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Man Utd (A)
Norwich (H)

Ayew

The Swansea midfielder has started very well and is playing in a very advanced position.  Great underlying shooting stats back up that start.

Everton (H)
Southampton (A)
Spurs (H)
Stoke (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Arsenal (H)

Coutinho

The attraction here for the Liverpool attacking midfielder is the 2 fixtures coming up.  Has good shooting stats.  Did play midweek in the Europa League which may limit minutes at the weekend.

Norwich (H)
Aston Villa (H)
Everton (A)
Spurs (A)
Southampton (H)
Chelsea (A)

Payet

The West Ham CAM is a class act with a fantastic assist record in France.  Has also scored goals since coming into the league although doesn’t have the shooting stats that you would expect for those goals.  Thats not necessarily a limitation but you’d rather have it as a back up.

Man City (A)
Norwich (H)
Sunderland (A)
Crystal Palace (A)
Chelsea (H)
Watford (A)

Sako

A nothing short of sensational start from the Palace midfielder.  It’s no fluke either with great shooting stats.  Can he keep it up is the question? 2 away fixtures aren’t ideal but Palace are lethal on the counter and last year away games suited them

Spurs (A)
Watford (A)
West Brom (H)
West Ham (H)
Leicester (A)
Man Utd (H)

Lens

The Sunderland wide midfielder has started with a consistent run of assists.  Does have quality it’s just how much of a limitation is Sunderland

Bournemouth (A)
Man Utd (A)
West Ham (H)
West Brom (A)
Newcastle (H)
Everton (A)

Jurado

This is all about fixtures.  Had an ok record with Moscow last season but does play in an advanced position.  Question is really about whether he can return in a team that has struggled so far to score.  No underlying stats of any sort so far.  This is just a fixture gamble

Newcastle (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Arsenal (H)
Stoke (A)
West Ham (H)

Bolasie

The Palace winger played centrally as a striker at the weekend although may have just been tactical for that game.  Has a pretty mixed record but reasonable fixtures to come.  Nothing in the way of underlying stats

Spurs (A)
Watford (A)
West Brom (H)
West Ham (H)
Leicester (A)
Man Utd (H)
