Did play in the midweek internationals but impossible to think he won’t start
Whats his consistency like overall and away?
Overall returned a goal or assist in 62% of games which is excellent.
Away from home it’s nothing short of incredible with 10 goals and 3 assists in 12 games and returning a goal or assist in 9 of those games
How has he performed against lower placed opposition away from home?
Incredible: Of the 3 games he didn’t reurn in away from home 2 were against Chelsea and Man Utd and the other was in 12 minutes off the bench against Sunderland
Whats his recent away form like?
Incredible

Whats the opposition defence like at home?
Overall not too bad: 9th in goals conceded at home with 19 goals conceded in 15 games. 5 clean sheets which again is middle of the table stuff
Recent home form isn’t as good though apart from the excellent defensive performance against Man City.

Summary
What can you say that hasn’t already been said. Incredible performance this season and away from home he has been lethal against a defence that apart from City has recently struggled. Pens are a bit up in the air. Either him or Townsend
Charlie Austin (WBA A, Villa A)
Will he start both games?
After an international break inmpossible to think he won’t start barring an injury in the first game
Whats his consistency like overall and away?
Overall: pretty good considering he had such a tough start. Returned a goal or assist in 15/27 games which is a very respectable 56%
Away from home: Ok 5 goals and 1 assist in 12 games and a 6/12 games returning which is a reasonble 50%
Whats his recent away form like?
BUR(A) 1-2 90 minutes 1 goal 0 assists 8 points
STK(A) 1-3 90 minutes 0 goals 1 assist 5 points
HUL(A) 1-2 74 minutes 1 goal 0 assists 9 points

What about the two defences?
WBA
The overall season at home stats mask the Pulis affect and it’s a middle of the table 19 goals conceded and 6 clean sheets in 15 games

So apart from the Spurs game then it’s exemplary
Aston Villa
Overall similar home form of 19 goals conceded in 15 games but only 3 clean. However Sherwood has bought a more attacking style to the team which again makes the figure unreliable

So not good but not terrible either
Summary
It’s the double gameweek here thats the attraction as the stats compared to Harry Kane they are very weak. And it all depends on whether you think the 2 games make it worth having him as captain. He has pens which is one advantage

A little bit complicated by the fact that Austin is playing 2 games.
Anyway here’s one bookies anytime goal scoring odds although the bookie I went to didn’t have the 2nd QPR game. I’ve also not included the likes of Remy etc with gametime risk

The both that I have access to are going for Austin although both had him to start the gameweek anyway
The FFGeek team:
Not sure at the moment. I’m leaning to bringing in Austin with Giroud out. Again it’s a defensive move as not having a popular doublegameweek captain seems a bit of a ranking risk while Giroud is home to a good defensive team in Liverpool and then Giroud has a blank in GW33. It means I miss out on Giroud facing Burnley (although I’ll still have Sanchez for Arsenal coverage) and Austin then plays Chelsea which seems to negate the advantage some what. However I hate going through gameweeks worried about 1 player anyway let alone 1 player with 2 games. Anyway still some cogitating time although it seems Austins price will go up tonight so it’s today or never
