A mixed set of fixtures.  Normally you would go for Chelsea v Norwich but thats a difficult one at the moment

Here’s the anytime goalscoring odds for those at £2.20 or below for £1 invested.  I’ve included Aguero and Bony even though at this stage there’s doubt over who will start

£1.95 – Vardy, Aguero, Kane

£2.05 – Costa

£2.10 – Lukaku, Wickham

£2.20 – Pelle, Bony

Just the two managers this week.  1 is going for Vardy the other Lukaku.  Vardy was before the injury update

12 games 7 goals 4 assists.  FPL point every  14.1 mins.  Consistency return rate (return in a game of a goal or assist) 6 returns from 12 games ie 50%. Reasonable shooting and creating chances stats considering tricky fixtures to date

Aston Villa defence:  12 games 20 goals conceded 2 clean sheets.  Underlying defensive stats aren’t as bad as expected considering the goals conceded.

Vardy Leicester fwd £7.4m away to Newcastle

12 games 12 goals 1 assist.  FPL point every  12.5 mins.  Consistency return rate 11 returns from 12 games ie 92%  Great shooting and creating underlying stats.  Injured and a questionable starter

Summary:  What can you say about Vardy.  Against a pretty poor defence.  Injury and not playing is the main negative

Kane Spurs  fwd £9.4m home to West Ham

12 games 6 goals 0 assists.  FPL point every 19.2 mins.  Consistency return rate 4 returns from 12 games ie 33%.  Very good underlying shooting stats.  Great recent form 5 goals in the last 3 including a hat trick

Kane is all about recent form and good underlying stats

West Ham:  12 games 16 goals conceded 3 clean sheets.  Pretty much a lower mid table defensive team.  I ranked them 15th overall defence.

So the fantastic start defensively away has now finished

Summary:  Kane is all about recent form and good underlying stats.  The West Ham defence isn’t the spectacular one in the first few games of the season.

The FFGeek choice:

Well I moved away from ususally picking the favourite last week and paid the price.  So today it’s back to normal picking Lukaku.
