fantasy premier league captain choice – GW20

Here’s my brief overview for the captain options for fantasy premier league gameweek 20.  Time constraints being the determinant of doing it this way.

Here’s the options:

Suarez

Walcott

Negredo

Suarez

A specialist for home thrashings of lesser opposition.  24 points home to Norwich.  15 West Ham and 16 Cardiff.  Hull away from home can fit into this category.  They’ve been thrashed 4-1 away to Southampton.  They did have respectable performances away to Everton, Man City Arsenal and Chelsea conceding 2 in each game.

Walcott

Is a bit of an injury doubt with a “little shoulder problem”.  However was pictured training yesterday apparently.  In my mind should play given that and the other injuries.

Not really had a home game against lesser opposition so far this year but has historically proved his ability to score in such games.  This is especially so if Arsenal score first and he gets the chance to play on the counter.  Liverpool and Chelsea put 3 and 4 goals past them so goals look a reality.

Negredo

After being on the bench for rest at home to Palace and Pellegrini talking about splitting them for rotation Negredo should be a certain starter.   Has scored away to Cardiff and assisted in the game away at Fulham.  Didn’t return away to Hull Aston Villa and West Ham and Sunderland.    There should be goals in the game which is why I’ve put him in my fantasy premier league FFgeek picks.   Swansea have had 3 clean sheets but can concede goals at home.  Man Utd  and Stoke have scored 4 and 3 respectively.  Arsenal and Liverpool have scored 2 each.

However given his lack of returns away the fantasy premier league captains armband is a stretch too far.

Ive ruled outt everyone above on gametime security.  Giroud could be rested which in itself creates uncertainty over Bendtner and Podolski.  Both Rooney and RVP are injury doubts
