£1.75 – Sanchez, Giroud, Walcott

£2.00 – Vardy, Costa

So the lack of obvious easy fixtures shows up with the lack of alternatives at or under £2.20

FPL advice sites polls

Site 1 is the main FPL advice site btw.  Only 3 up this week as one site I go to for some reason didn’t include Sanchez so I disregarded it

3 of the top FPL managers I follow

3 of the top 10 FPL managers I follow I am able to find out who they are captaining.  All 3 are captaining Sanchez interestingly

The FFGeek choice

Again a split between 2 choices Vardy and Sanchez.  Again this is one of the captain choices that will potentially be rank changing whatever you choose although most people will have the damage limited by at least owning both players. I’m sticking with Sanchez although Wengers words about him needing a rest do worry me.

Some basic stats

Sanchez Arsenal mid £11.5m

9 games 6 goals 1 assist.  FPL point every  11.4 mins.  Consistency return rate (return in a game of a goal or assist) 4 returns from 9 games ie 44%.  Best shooting stats of any midfielder.  Some talk from Wenger of him needing a rest gives some residual gametime risk

Everton defence:  9 games 11 goals conceded 3 clean sheet.  Underlying defensive stats are pretty  ordinary

9 games 9 goals 1 assists.  FPL point every 12.3 mins.  Consistency return rate 8 returns from 9 games ie 89%.  Very good shooting and creating chances stats.

C Palace:  9 games 10 goals conceded 2 clean sheets.  Underlying defensive stats are pretty ordinary

Pretty reasonable record

Mahrez Leicester mid £6.5m

9 games 5 goals 4 assists.  FPL point every  9.4 mins.  Consistency return rate 6 returns from 8 games ie 75%.  Great shooting and creating chances stats.

Hasn’t started the last 2 games although turned around the game against Southampton.

C Palace:  9 games 10 goals conceded 2 clean sheets.  Underlying defensive stats are pretty ordinary

Costa Chelsea fwd £11.1m 

7 games 2 goals 2 assists.  FPL point every 20.3 mins.  Consistency return rate 2 return from 7 games ie 29%. Has some creating chances stats but little in the way of shooting stats.

West Ham defence:  9 games 12 goals conceded 3 clean sheets.  Underlying defensive stats are pretty poor.

West Ham last 4 home games:

LEI(H) 1-2
BOU(H) 3-4
NEW(H) 2-0
NOR(H) 2-2 90

So pretty terrible home form.
