Here’s our fantasy premier league clean sheet tips GW24 article. Here we rank the clean sheet prospects for each team in gameweek 24 by comparing each teams defence in gameweek 24 compared to the attacking rank of the opponent. Both attack and defence ranking use a mixture of actual and underlying stats. We also give you one of the bookies odds for clean sheets and rank them in order to give you another view. I hope you find it interesting and useful in deciding the lineup for your team.
fantasy premier league clean sheet tips GW24
Firstly here are the fixtures:
We go through each team by the clean sheet rank I’ve given them. We calculated that in a very basic way. We’ve compared the rank of the teams defence vs the rank of the opponents attack. As I said it’s a bit basic and it doesn’t differentiate between home and away or recent circumstances. Thats why we’ve put the clean sheet odds for GW24 of one bookie as another point of reference. We’ve also given you the rank of those odds for each of the teams. The clean sheet odds are the amount won for £1 invested. The odds are of when I wrote the article. Hope thats clear. In ranking the bookies, if the odds are the same for 2 or more teams, I’ve followed my ranking. As I’ve used stats over the season sometimes recent circumstances wont be factored in. Thats why it’s worth looking at the bookies odds and especially the outliers as another view and looking at the narrative under the heading “general points on teams”.

FFGeek vs the Bookies
We look at last weeks clean sheets and compare how we ranked them as clean sheet possibilities vs how the bookies did. The lower the predicted rank and running total the better obviously
Team | FFG Rank | Bookies rank
1 | Leicester | 10 | 6 | |
2 | WBA | 3 | 2 | |
3 | A Villa | 11 | 11 | |
4 | Chelsea | 17 | 17 | |
total | 41 | 36 | ||
total to date | 373 | 326 | ||
Running Total CF | 414 | 362
So close but the bookies won again and now have a strong lead
Last week
We review the teams where there was a ranking difference between ourselves and the bookies of more than 5 last week
Last week there were no differences
This week
We look forward this week and review the teams where the clean sheet prospect rank is different by more than 5 places
This week I favour Spurs and Stoke more than the bookies against Norwich and Man Utd which is ok by me.
The bookies favour Chelsea over Watford more than me which again is ok
