fantasy premier league deadline day transfers – the key stats

So here’s the schedule.  It’s in alphabetical order of teams and has a key underneath.  I’ve highlighted what I think are the best transfers to consider  in green and then added a few words for those plus their next 6 fixtures.  Some are questionable about GW4 match fitness so the Friday press conferences before GW4 will be crucial.  By the way I haven’t included the defensive likes of Mustafi and Luiz because although I think they will be good transfers they don’t provide any price differential for the teams involved.  Sorry its a bit small but needed alot of data to help your decision making.  btw the stats are from their league competitions only and don’t include domestic cups or European competitions

Key:

Mins per G/A: The amount of minutes played it takes to get a goal or assist
Starting prospects: This is the prospects of starting GW4. 1 is no chance. 10 is nailed on. MF means they may have match fitness issues which could mean a sub appearance rather than starting. The Friday press conference before GW4 will be crucial. A ? means to difficult to tell
Potential gametime risk on player: This says who is likely to be affected gametime wise by the incoming transfer
Fixt ease 6/3: The ranking of the teams fixtures coming up. The lower the better fixtures. The first number is the 6 game fixtures the 2nd the next 3.

Benteke

It was his first season with Aston Villa in 12/13 that he scored 19 goals and 4 assists in the PL at a goal or assist every 122 minutes.  Even last season it was 9 goals and 4 assists at a goal or assist every 118 minutes.  So he will get you points.  With Palace he will have a team that will probably provide more crosses than any other team and be designed around his strengths.  Great fixtures coming up too.  He’s already played 90 minutes so fitness is no issue.  It’s just whether he can suddenly make them into a team that can score which they really aren’t at the moment

Next 6 fixtures:

Middlesbrough (A)
Stoke (H)
Sunderland (A)
Everton (A)
West Ham (H)
Leicester (A)

Bony

After scoring 33 goals in the Dutch league he arrived at Swansea in 13/14 and scored 17 goals and 4 assists at a goal or assist every 118 minutes.  Hasn’t really had the chance he needed at City.  He is a heavy player and needs games to be match fit.  What we do know is that he’s a natural finisher.  He also should be without competition for his place at Stoke.  Just a little questionable whether he will be match fit enough to start and finish GW4 which also unfortunately is against Spurs

Spurs (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
West Brom (H)
Man Utd (A)
Sunderland (H)
Hull (A)

Chadli

A real goalscoring midfielder here and should be just the attacking boost WBA need.  The only questions are his defensive laziness which may not exactly be pleasing to defensive maestro manager Tony Pulis.  Also whether WBA are conducive to anyone scoring.  In 14/15 though he scored 11 goals and 6 assists for Spurs at a goal or assist every 141 minutes.  Thats a great return rate and not bad for a mid price striker let alone midfielder.  Good fixtures in the next 4 but again is he match fit to start in GW4?

Bournemouth (A)
West Ham (H)
Stoke (A)
Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Liverpool (A)

Zaza

In pole position to lead the attack with very good fixtures coming up for West Ham.  He is also an Italian International.  The negatives though are whether he is match fit but also the fact that his stats in the last few years haven’t been that exciting.

Watford (H)
West Brom (A)
Southampton (H)
Middlesbrough (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Sunderland (H)
