Player suggestions

Here we are looking for players ideally with a good GW4 fixture, in a strong defence with a good ongoing fixtures:

Manchester City – Benjamin Mendy is the obvious defender to own here

Liverpool – another strong defence. Robertson is the more expensive attacking option. Alexander Arnold also offers attacking threat from RB and also has some set pieces including some direct free kicks

Chelsea – Go for the cheap option of Luiz or the attacking option of Alonso.

Spurs – Trippier is a great attacking option although the FB’s will be rotated.  Choose Vertonghen if you want more gametime security.

Everton – their defence has yet to prove themselves and only Coleman seems to have longevity at the moment.  He isn’t cheap though at £5.4m.  Home to Huddersfield and good fixtures it’s just whether you believe in the defence.

The best rotation pair starting now is probably Crystal Palace (Wan Bissaka) and Wolves (Doherty).  See our original rotation pairs article.  I would also say that those 2 probably have the best short term home games if that’s all you’re looking for
