Here’s my fantasy premier league defenders  ”ones to watch” article for DGW37 complete with table so you can see the stats side by side.   The narrative then identifies the best attacking defender and the best cheapie defender.  I’ve then put some further comments around it. Best attacking defender:  Ivanovic £6.7m

Best budget defender:  Azpilicueta £5.7m  GK Schwarzer is good value at £4.5m although Cech is coming back to fitness

Potential for 2 clean sheets to the end of the season.

2.  Manchester City

Best attacking defender:     Zabaleta and Kompany at £6.3m/£6.3m have potential with more security.

Best budget defender;  Kolarov £5.1m but with rotation with Clichy

Best attacking defender:  either Coleman £6.9m or Baines £7.6m.  Baines has pens and direct free kicksbut as I write this is an injury doubt

Best budget defender;   Stones at £4.2m could be an option if you really want to take a gametime  risk as Jagielka and Distin are injury doubtd but not ecrtain to miss out
