fantasy premier league DGW 31 – 2 to buy, 2 to sell, 2 to hold and 2 differentials

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s a short article to help you with any of your last minute fantasy premier league decisions.   It’s a short punchier article with a few players mentioned and only a short paragraph on each rather than loads of stats.  Detail can be found on most players in the “ones to watch” articles or in the case of sells possibly in my “bandwagons and sinking ships”  article.  The players are meant to be permanent buys not just for DGW31.  I’ll try and make it reasonably topical and not add on the extremely obvious.

2 To Buy for fantasy premier league DGW 31

Gerrard

Heavy points scorer from last week and the most consistent returning midfielder.  Has pen and free kick responsibility which has been fuelled by the likes of Suarez, Sterling Sturridge and Skrtel.  Very good DGW31 fixtures away to Cardiff and home to Sunderland

Silva

Another big scorer from last week who up to then had no luck with the final finish.  With the best overall shooting and creating chances stats and with  the primary responsibility for  creativity in the City midfield then Silva is in a great position to take advantage of the 3 extra games to the end of the season.  Hopefully last week is the start of the luck turning.

2 to sell

Lallana

Fan as I am there are so many good midfield options that it’s very difficult to hold on to anyone without a fantasy premier league DGW 31.  Especially someone who hasn’t returned in his last 4 and was subbed after 55 minutes last week when the score was only 1-0.  Reasonably tricky game away to Spurs as well

Adebayor

Again so many big striking options for DGW31 then it’s hard to keep hold of someone who doesn’t have 2 fixtures and costs £8m.  Did play well against Spurs but that final striking spot next to Sturridge and Suarez should be filled with a DGWer

2 to hold

Hazard

I’m still in the hold Hazard club especially if you can squeeze Silva and YYT into your team.  Anyone who has over 40% owndership and has 8 fantasy premier league point scores of 10 points or more is a dangerous player to sell.  Unless you bought him recently you will alsao struggle to buy him back given his price rises.  By the way after Arsenal his next 3 home games are Stoke, Sunderland and Norwich with Cardiff away last day of the season.  100k people don’t agree though and have sold him this gameweek though.

Terry

Unless you haven’t got Coleman I would hold on to the Chelsea captain.  Has a reasonable run of fixtures and looking sharp at set pieces.  The 3 home games and last game above all have great chances of clean sheets

2 differentials

Welbeck (3.8% ownership)

Will be the primary beneficiary of the RVP injury which will keep him out for 4-6 weeks.  Welbeck  could lead the line in the in front of Rooney.  Less beneficial would be him playing behind Rooney and the worst scenario would be Mata playing centrally behind Rooney and Welbeck on the flank. However going into this gameweek and some good fixtures to go to then end of the season its a gamble that could pay off.

Dzeko (9.3% ownership)

Incredible to think that he’s owned by so little going into a home game with Fulham and a DGW.  Famous last words but definitely should be selected for that game whether by himelf with YYT behind or as a partner with Negredo. Aguero looks to be out for 1 or 2 game weeks and Dzeko with the right planning would be an immediate exit for him.
