Hi everyone and Happy New Year!

It’s a shortened Player Picks from me this gameweek because of the quick turnaround. I’ll catch up with the review side from GW21 in my GW23 picks. Here goes for this week

Banker – Harry Kane (TOT £12.8M) swa/WHM

Despite him possibly missing the Swansea game due to illness, this guy simply can’t be ignored. 2017 finished with back-to-back hat-tricks and it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see him start 2018 with another big haul. Both GW22 opponents have hardly covered themselves in glory so far this season so Kane will fancy his chances against both.

Ace – Heung-Min Son (TOT £8.0M) swa/WHM

4 goals and 4 assists in the last 6 games for the busy South Korean makes him a great asset to own this week. His pace and intelligent running will worry both defences and he could be a great captain option if Sir Harold misses out.

Joker – Manuel Lanzini (WHM £6.7M) – WBA/tot

While most people will be favouring Arnautovic from The Hammers midfield, don’t overlook the little Argentine. He’s a key player going forward and although more assist based, he certainly has the potential to rack up a double figure haul this week.

That’s it from me on Player Picks. Good luck this week everyone and normal service will be resumed for GW23.
