Lets face it if your team value is anything like mine you’re going to need to find some value players to get you through the fantasy premier league double gameweeks 2016. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying this team in itself is what you should wildcard it’s just a menu of cheap players so you can fit the Aguero’s and Lukaku’s into your team. There’s a table of stats and some words on the players risks plus the fixtures to the end of the season
fantasy premier league double gameweeks 2016 – team value for the DGWs and Blanks
So below is a team of value players. These are players who are good value generally compared to their team mates or within the context of their position. There are 2 things to remember. Firstly it’s not a team that works going through the double gameweeks and blanks. Secondly it’s just a team of cheap players, a menu if you like. Not a serious team. Below that are the basic stats. Lastly remember these players are cheap for a reason. Thats either due to gametime risk or a lack of points potential. Playing 1 of these players always come risk. Ok here comes the team. It’s so cheap that there’s nearly £27m in the bank

Key: G/A – Goals/Assists
CS/GA – Team Clean sheets/Goals conceded for defenders only
Mins per FPL points – How many minutes it takes to earn an FPL point. The lower the better
Consistency – The % of games that a goal or assist is earned.
Last 6 pts/retns – Points in last 6 games and returning games/total games. Clean sheets included for defenders
Blank/DGWs – The blank and double gameweeks ahead. BGW means they have no fixture in GW35.
Robles
Started the last 6 after a series of comical perfromances from Tim Howard with the crowd turning against him. 3 DGWs for £4.3m is good not matter how sceptical you are with the defence
Man Utd (A)
Watford (A) DGW33
Crystal Palace (A) DGW33
Southampton (H) DGW34
Liverpool (A) DGW34
– Gameweek 35 –
Bournemouth (H)
Leicester (A) DGW37
Sunderland (A) DGW37
Norwich (H)
Elliot
Elliot is about value and a game in GW35 with the double GW34. There’s also the gamble that Rafa can improve the defence markedly
Norwich (A)
Southampton (A)
Swansea (H) DGW34
Man City (H) DGW34
Liverpool (A) BGW35
Crystal Palace (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Spurs (H)
Rojo
Has to be favourite for the LB spot and has some value benefits over De Gea and Smalling for the Man Utd defence coverage. Has built up his fitness now to 90 minutes. A monitor for GW32 is needed
Everton (H)
Spurs (A)
Aston Villa (H) DGW34
Crystal Palace (H) DGW34
– Gameweek 35 –
Leicester (H)
Norwich (A) DGW37
West Ham (A) DGW37
Bournemouth (H)
Gabriel
Gabriel is in a straight fight with Mertesacker for the CB position. Looks to have the edge but important that he starts in GW32 to cement that
Watford (H)
West Ham (A)
Crystal Palace (H) DGW34
West Brom (H) DGW34
Sunderland (A) BGW35
Norwich (H)
Man City (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Mangala
He maybe the worst spent £30m ever but with Kompany now out for 6 weeks or so someone has to partner Otamendi in the defence. Demichelis has been dreadful in the last couple of games so Managala has to be in with a shout of becoming his partner. Rotation with the Champions League and Sagnas ability to play CB remain further risks. GW32 will be a crucial pointer
Bournemouth (A)
West Brom (H)
Chelsea (A) DGW34
Newcastle (A) DGW34
Stoke (H) BGW35
Southampton (A)
Arsenal (H)
Swansea (A)
Ake
Unless you’ve got a huge amount of cash you’re going to have to take some gambles in defence. The Watford defence may have gone off the boil and have 1 eye on the FA Cup semi but they have enough stats to suggest that they can get some clean sheets over that period
Arsenal (A)
Everton (H)
West Brom (A) DGW34
West Ham (A) DGW34
– Gameweek 35 –
Aston Villa (H)
Liverpool (A) DGW37
Norwich (A) DGW37
Sunderland (H)
Kone
Big Sam really has not done the business with the Sunderland defence. However at the price, with a GW35 fixture and a DGW37 plus good attacking ability he does have some attraction
West Brom (H)
Leicester (H)
Norwich (A)
Arsenal (H) BGW35
Stoke (A)
Chelsea (H) DGW37
Everton (H) DGW37
Watford (A)
Lennon
Been in exceptional form and has started the last 6. There are a number of players though who can take his RW position for Everton which does make him a rotation risk. Everton in the FA Cup semi also increases some rotation risk. Barkley is the safer Everton midfield pick
Man Utd (A)
Watford (A) DGW33
Crystal Palace (A) DGW33
Southampton (H) DGW34
Liverpool (A) DGW34
– Gameweek 35 –
Bournemouth (H)
Leicester (A) DGW37
Sunderland (A) DGW37
Norwich (H)
Milner
Surprisingly good recent form considering he’s a fairly unfashionable player who generally plays in the deeper midfield positions. Should be fairly gametime secure although rotation with the Europa League will be a risk.
Spurs (H)
Stoke (H)
Bournemouth (A) DGW34
Everton (H) DGW34
Newcastle (H) BGW35
Swansea (A)
Watford (H) DGW34
Chelsea (H) DGW34
West Brom (A)
Lingard
Started 9 of the last 10 games and most recently in a central position. However 3 of them have seen him in a central position. Outstanding value for a Man Utd midfilder but does come with rotation risk due to a number of options.
Everton (H)
Spurs (A)
Aston Villa (H) DGW34
Crystal Palace (H) DGW34
– Gameweek 35 –
Leicester (H)
Norwich (A) DGW37
West Ham (A) DGW37
Bournemouth (H)
Lanzini
Started the last 4 since coming back from injury and did play 11 games on the trot earlier in the season. Does struggle to finish the 90 though. Good attacking midfielder. The FA Cup quarter replay and possible semi provides some additional rotation risk
Crystal Palace (H)
Arsenal (H)
Leicester (A) DGW34
Watford (H) DGW34
– Gameweek 35 –
West Brom (A)
Swansea (H) DGW37
Man Utd (H) DGW37
Stoke (A)
Antonio
Started the last 16 although recently played at RB in the absence of every fit RB at the club. However Byram should be fit for GW32 and that should be crucial for seeing whether both Lanzini and Antonio both start.
Crystal Palace (H)
Arsenal (H)
Leicester (A) DGW34
Watford (H) DGW34
– Gameweek 35 –
West Brom (A)
Swansea (H) DGW37
Man Utd (H) DGW37
Stoke (A)
Rashford
Started the last 4 as striker and has 3 goals in his first 4 games. Starting position is enhanced by Rooneys injury where there is no return date. However does swap positions with Martial who’s playing on the flank and could in theory lose it to him. However outstanding value for a Man Utd forward even with their attacking limitations. Check needed GW32
Everton (H)
Spurs (A)
Aston Villa (H) DGW34
Crystal Palace (H) DGW34
– Gameweek 35 –
Leicester (H)
Norwich (A) DGW37
West Ham (A) DGW37
Bournemouth (H)
Defoe
Started 11 of the last 12 and has a good goal scoring record plus form
West Brom (H)
Leicester (H)
Norwich (A)
Arsenal (H) BGW35
Stoke (A)
Chelsea (H) DGW37
Everton (H) DGW37
Watford (A)
Ighalo
Form has absolutely fallen off a cliff but started every game after scoring as a sub in GW1. Good goal scoring record earlier in the season and a good record last year in the championship. Has kept up reasonable shooting stats though during his scoring lull. It’s just whether you think the goals will return.
