Fantasy premier league – the early GW10 Bandwagons and sinking ships

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s the early fantasy premier league bandwagons and sinking ships ie the most transferred in and out players, so far in the gameweek and my view of them.  A little briefer than usual due to time pressure

Bandwagons

Suarez

Was my top ranked forward in the “ones to watch” articles.  Hardly surprising he’s the top bandwagon after a hat trick.  In the 4 games since he’s come back he’s got 6 goals and 2 assists and has the best underlying shooting stats per minute of any forward.  Also creates chances for others which supplementing goals with assists.  A couple of tricky fixtures in the next 6 but overall they look juicy.  A definite BUY

Arsenal (A)
Fulham (H)
Everton (A)
Hull City (A)
Norwich (H)
West Ham (H)

Aguero

7 goals and 4 assists in his first 8 games.  Rotation and fixtures seem irrelevant to his returns.  The only shadow is the continued rotation and the Champions league.  Can you have an £11m player, taking a forwards position, who you have to think twice about the captains armband when a good fixture comes on because you don’t know whether he’ll start.  This week home to Norwich is the perfect example.  Will he start there?  It’s definitely questionable.  The plus side is he can score from the subs bench and Pellegrini is using 2 strikers.  Personally I would probably accept this risk as long as I have a captain alternative plan as he’s total quality.  Mixed fixures but next 2 are good.  BUY

Norwich (H)
Sunderland (A)
Tottenham (H)
Swansea (H)
West Brom (A)
Southampton (A)

Lallana

Surprising this one considering he did’t return despite playing one of the poorest defences in the league. Is everything you want  in terms of position but just doesn’t seem to get the underlying stats to get consistent returns.  4 tricky fixtures in the next 6 so its an IGNORE for me

Stoke City (A)
Hull City (H)
Arsenal (A)
Chelsea (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Man City (H

The Sinking Ships

Sturridge

I said in my recent posts that I think Suarez is the better than Sturridge due to his all round game and his underlying stats for shooting and creating chances are so much better than Sturridge.  Still its seems harsh to  sell someone who has got 8 goals and 2 assists in his first 9 games and has only not returned in 1 game so far.  Personally he’s a hold for me unless you’ve got nothing else to do in your team.  I would definitely prefer Suarez though which is where this transfer is going.  2 strikers in the same team is a bit much and a bit limiting captain wise

Arsenal (A)
Fulham (H)
Everton (A)
Hull City (A)
Norwich (H)
West Ham (H)

Giroud

Another sacrifice for a Suarez transfer and a little more understandable if you’re holding Ozil, Ramsey and Giroud.  Personally I would keep Giroud as he’s such a safe captain option and transfer out Ozil.  Fixtures are trickier but he’s definite HOLD for me with 5 goals and 4 assists in his first 9 and very good underlying shooting and creating chances stats. 3 tough fixtures next so selling an arsenal asset is understandable but I would struggle to sell Giroud.  HOLD

Liverpool (H)
Man Utd (A)
Southampton (H)
Cardiff City (A)
Hull City (H)
Everton (H)

Jose Enrique

Combine an injury doubt, Cissokho taking his spot and Liverpool now going 6 games in a row without a clean sheet and its a definite sell for me.  Good fixtures or not.  SELL

Arsenal (A)
Fulham (H)
Everton (A)
Hull City (A)
Norwich (H)
West Ham (H)

That’s it sorry its a little shorter than usual
