Here’s our fantasy premier league fixture analysis GW15 article where we look at the teams with the best attacking fixtures from GW15 over a 3 and 6 gameweek period. There’s also some attacking player suggestions with their basic stats and their next 6 fixtures. I’ve also introduced a new element this season where we look for clumps of good fixtures for teams to help you pick out a good time to transfer a player in

FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURE ANALYSIS GW15 – THE FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

The team ranked 1 has the best fixtures from an attacking view point over the next 3 weeks. There are an extra columns for the next 6 weeks.

Underneath that there’s a section called fixture clumps. There’s a schedule which identifies each team where a good run of fixtures starts. The fixture run will also have to have a good entry point fixture. I’ve done these up to fixtures starting at GW20 and will update them each week

PLAYER SUGGESTIONS

I normally only give attacking player suggestions for teams that have the best ranked fixtures for the first 3 and the first 6 games which is what I’ve done this week

CHELSEA

3 players for me.

Morata

£10.7m forward Morata has scored 8 goals and 4 assists in 11 games and 2 part games and he’s returned a goal or assist in 6 of those 13 games.  That’s slightly less consistency of returns than you’d like for the price but overall you have to be pleased with his start to the PL.

The danger for GW15 is after he started GW14 and Hazard was rested is that he could be rested for the GW15 Newcastle match.  However that is going to be an ever present risk with the UCL teams due to the additional fixtures already played.

There are some cautionary signs as well as the consistency level.  He’s blanked in his last 2 games and despite goals prior to that you could look at 4 of the last 6 games now being less of a goal threat in underlying stats than you’d like.

Hazard

The £10.7m midfielder got just 9 minutes in GW14 and tht should make him a nailed on starter for GW15.  Hazard, after a slow start, has got 3 goals and an 3 assists in 7 starts and 4 sub appearances. However in the last 5 games started, he has returned a goal or assist in 4 of those games and has been playing as a strike partner to Morata in a 3-5-2 formation.   He also has the huge bonus of pens.

With the games against lower placed opposition the formation could return to 3-4-3 which would push him slightly to the left.  Like Morata he’s had 2 quiet games but off the back of 3 great underlying stats games

Fabregas

The £6.9m midfielder is the budget option. Fabregas plays in the 3 man central midfield of the 3-5-2 or as a CM in 3-4-3 and has some set piece responsibility. The question mark remains over 1 goal and 3 assists in 11 starts and 2 sub appearances. It’s also only 1 returning game in his last 5 starts. However his underlying stats have shown a great improvement which gives hope that he can do more than just assist the assister.

CRYSTAL PALACE

Zaha

£6.9m midfielder Zaha is the leading option for me here.  He’s been playing as a striker in the absence of Benteke and that continued with Benteke’s first start against Brighton.  While 3 goals in 8 starts isn’t overwhelming he’s produced good underlying stats in most games and is a positive sign for the games ahead

Loftus Cheek

£4.5m Mid Loftus Cheek for me is the best of he £4.5ms for me  and a useful off your FPL bench player

Liverpool

3 options here.

Worth remembering that Klopp has shown and stated that he will rotate and use his squad.

Salah

The £9.8m RW in a front 3 is the obvious place to start.  He’s started 12 games plus 2 as sub and scored 12 goals and 3 assists including 7 goals in his last 4 games.  He’s returned a goal or assist in 10 of those 14 games for an incredible 71% consistency rate. His underlying stats are also incredible and he’s turned up as a goal threat in virtually every game.

Should start in GW15 having come off the bench to devastating effect in 23 minutes of GW14

Mane

Mane is the £9.4m LW on the other side to Salah.  He’s had various injury issues which have meant he’s only played 7 games and 2 part games.  In those games he’s also been consistent,  returning in 5 of those 7 games for 4 goals and 3 assists.

His underlying stats overall are very good and he’s a multi functional midfielder who is a goal and assist threat.  While his overall underlying stats are very good but he probably delivers them in a more inconsistent manner than say Salah.  But then so does everyone at the moment.

Hard to say what will happen on rotation.  It’s a balance between the low amount of games played to date which is a positive vs an poor injury record which is a negative to play a high number of games.

Coutinho

£8.8m midfielder Coutinho is the last option and often sits in the midfield 3 of 4-3-3.  That position doesn’t seem to effect his output.  His returns of 3 goals and 2 assists in 7 starts have been excellent, helped by bonus points flowing his way with the returns.  He hasn’t delivered them particularly consistently though with returns in 3 of 7 games.  The issue I have with him though is his underlying stats.  Although he is multi functional delivering assists and goal threat he’s doing so at a pretty low level.  However, he has always over performed these underlying stats but they are still someway off last seasons
