fantasy premier league fixture difficulty – the fixture ease schedule

Fantasy Premier League, fixture ease schedule

Here’s our fantasy premier league fixture difficulty from GW10 article where we look at the teams with the best attacking fixtures from GW10 over a 3 and 6 gameweek period. There’s also some attacking player suggestions with their basic stats and their next 6 fixtures. I’ve also introduced a relatively new element where we look for clumps of good fixtures for teams to help you pick out a good time to transfer a player in

FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURE DIFFICULTY FROM GW10 – THE FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

Just to remind you if you don’t remember it from last season. The team ranked 1 has the best fixtures from an attacking view point over the next 3 weeks. There are an extra columns for the next 6 weeks.

I’ve marked in green the teams that have the best fixtures over the first 3 weeks and 6 weeks and but also with a good next fixture. These will be the teams that I will give attacking player suggestions to.

Underneath that I’ve started a new section called fixture clumps. There’s a schedule which identifies each team where a good run of fixtures starts. The fixture run will also have to have a good entry point fixture. I’ve done these up to fixtures starting at GW15 and will update them each week

PLAYER SUGGESTIONS

I normally only give attacking player suggestions for teams that have the best ranked fixtures for the first 3 and the first 6 games. This week I’ve added in  Stoke who’s on the edge of this

You’ll also notice that the fantasy premier league site has added totals to the player stats so I’ve reverted back to the stat of how many minutes it takes to earn an FPL point. I think it gives enough width to separate the players making it easier to evaluate them. The lower the stat the better obviously.

Brighton

1 player here for me and that’s £5.8m Mid Gross.  He plays pretty much as an auxillary striker and has set piece responsibility.  It’s 2 goals and 4 assists in 9 starts with a very respectable FPL point every 15.6 minutes. His underlying stats are reasonably good for the price although he’s really an assist based player rather than a goal scorer or all rounder.  My main reservation is that Brighton are a very defensive team and a bit of an attacking disaster.  Gross does seem to be shining through that at the moment

I haven’t included striker Glen Murray at the moment as I think we need to see what happens when the former incumbent Hemed returns from suspension

Southampton (H)
Swansea (A)
Stoke (H)
Man Utd (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Liverpool (H)

 Burnley

No one for me here from an attacking point of view.  Forward Wood and Midfielder Brady are as close as they come but just not good enough for me

Newcastle (H)
Southampton (A)
Swansea (H)
Arsenal (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Leicester (A)

Liverpool

£9.2m RAM Salah is the main man for me here.  He plays very advanced and has a great record of 5 goals and 2 assists in 8 starts plus 1 sub appearance.  His returns of an FPL point every 12.8 minutes is excellent and backed up by very good underlying stats

£9.0m Mid Coutinho has started 5 games for 2 goals and an assist at a pretty good 13.8 minutes per FPL point.  His underlying stats aren’t great and he has played in deeper positions in some of these games  but he does have set pieces and has an ability to score from range.  I personally prefer Salah myself

I’m not that wild on Firmino.  Classified as striker I don’t think he really plays as one and his underlying shooting stats are poor.

 Huddersfield (H)
West Ham (A)
Southampton (H)
Chelsea (H)
Stoke (A)
Brighton (A)

STOKE

£5.7m Mid Choupo Moting is the only player for me here.  He’s played on the left hand side of the attacking midfield as well as the centre and as striker.  In his 8 games and 1 sub appearance he’s only got 2 goals and 2 assists. However, his underlying stats are good and what’s more in the vast majority of games you would expect him to provide a goal threat he has.

 Watford (A)
Leicester (H)
Brighton (A)
Crystal Palace (A)
Liverpool (H)
Swansea (H)
