fantasy premier league game week 3 West Ham v Fulham – the immediate reaction

various

Well the first game after the transfer window shut certainly provided alot of interest for fantasy premier leauge manager

West Ham 3 Fulham 0

west ham lined up with a 4-2-3-1 with carrol leading the line in front of Vaz te Nolan and taylor with Diame and noble screening in front of the demel reid collins and Obrien for the injured Mccartney.  Jarvis was absent due to a training injury

Fulham lined up in 4-3-3 and unfortunately for fantasy premier league managers and my facebook team Kacaniklic was benched for loanee Richardson.   Fulhams front 3 was Petric Rodallega and  Duff with the midfield 3 being Diarra Sidwell and Richardson. New signing Berbatov was left on the bench.  Ruiz was injured.

IN the first half despite having Hangeland fulham had no idea how to deal with Caroll and the knock downs for Nolan.  With West Hams good fixtures this looks a profitable partnership and this is without the crossing ammunition that Jarvis has been bought to provide.

In the 2nd half Berba came on for Petric and Kacaniklic came on for Richardson but in reality the game petered out.  the only interest was whether fantasy premier league owners of Nolan and Matt Taylor will be losing the benefit of Andy Carrol through his hamstring injury.

Fulham have a lot of good fixtures coming up one and this was supposed to be one of them so such an insipd performance is worrying and fantasy premier league managers who own pteric for example will be very worried.  however it is one bad attacking performance after 2 good ones.  Can losing dembele make that much of a difference?

On the other had fantasy premier league owners of Nolan especially will be delighted at Carrols effect and as I say hope that no serious injury took place.
