KEY:

PPM: FPL Points per match
Consistency: the % of games that a player gets a goal or assist
Fixt ease: The ease of the next 6 and 3 fixtures (6/3) coming up. The lower the better fixtures
ICT PM: The ICT scores per match. These are taken from the FPL website and are there to represent the players underlying stats. I is influence, C creativity and T threat. The underlying stats that will represent the possibility of a goal or assist
Last 4: The last 4 matches played and the % of games that the player gets a goal or assist
ATGS odds: The anytime goalscoring odds for the next match from 1 bookie. Its £’s return for £1 invested

COUTINHO

And so continues the lottery of the Liverpool midfield.  You just never know who’s going to score what or when. This time it was the Coutino and Mane show as Coutinho got his first return in the last 3 games to take his season total to 4 goals and 3 assists.  He does have very good underlying stats though so his returns are no fluke.  Also has good set piece representation.

Next 6 fixtures

Crystal Palace (A)
Watford (H)
Southampton (A)
Sunderland (H)
Bournemouth (A)
West Ham (H)

LUKAKU

Only an assist against Burnley but he looked a constant threat.  It’s now 3 consecutive returns and a season total of 6 goals and 2 assists.  Excellent underlying stats back this up.  Could have pens with Baines currently injured

West Ham (H)
Chelsea (A)
Swansea (H)
Southampton (A)
Man Utd (H)
Watford (A)

WALCOTT

Blanked unexpectedly against Boro but it’s been a great season so far for the Arsenal winger with 5 goals and 3 assists.  He also has arguably the best shot stats of any midfielder.  Great value too

Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Man Utd (A)
Bournemouth (H)
West Ham (A)
Stoke (H)

COSTA

The Chelsea striker has been fantastically consistent this season although somehow blanked in the 4-0 thrashing of Man Utd.  Still 7 goals and 2 assists is nothing to be sneezed at and it was only his 2nd blank in his last 9.  Again great underlying stats show this is no fluke.  Seems to have changed the ability to get bonus points and not get yellow cards.  He is though on 4 and another before the turn of the year would mean a 1 match suspension

Southampton (A)
Everton (H)
Middlesbrough (A)
Spurs (H)
Man City (A)
West Brom (H)

ALLEN

The blank against Hull was his first after a run of 4 goals in his last 3.  Interestingly he has shown some good underlying stats over the last 4 games if not the season.  Playing as a CAM with these good fixtures can’t be ignored though.  The only question is whether you trust him as a 4th mid rather than a potentially handy 5th benchwarming one.

Swansea (H)
West Ham (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Watford (A)
Burnley (H)
Arsenal (A)

THE SINKING SHIPS

These are the 5 most transferred out players so far in the gameweek

Fixt ease: The ease of the next 6 and 3 fixtures (6/3) coming up. The lower the better fixtures

IBRAHIMOVIC

It seems a little crazy to me that if you’ve stuck with him for this long that you could sell him before a home game to Burnley.  If you saw what Southampton did via Nathan Redmond and Charlie Austin to Burnley then it was quite an eye opener.  Ibra has great underlying stats which he just hasn’t been able to convert.  If ever there was a guy who was due it’s him.  0 returns in his last 4 btw

Burnley (H)
Swansea (A)
Arsenal (H)
West Ham (H)
Everton (A)
Spurs (H)

BAILLY

The Man Utd CB injured his knee ligaments and hopes to be back for Boxing Day.  The sales are only about this as his form has been excellent.  I imagine this will see Shaw go to LB and Blind play CB unless Rojo can somehow force himself back into the picture.

Burnley (H)
Swansea (A)
Arsenal (H)
West Ham (H)
Everton (A)
Spurs (H)

ANTONIO

No returns in your last 4.  Playing as a wing back instead of a winger/ midfielder.  Subbed around 60 minutes.  While I personally think he’s an excellent when playing as an attacking midfielder the above mixture is only a recipe for transfers out.

Everton (A)
Stoke (H)
Spurs (A)
Man Utd (A)
Arsenal (H)
Liverpool (A)

AGUERO

The hot topic of the moment. A points per match that has a number at the beginning of it that is the same as Joel Allens.   A missed pen in 35 minutes against Everton and 2 blanks against, admittedly, 2 of the best defences in Southampton and Spurs.  Add in rumours of a fall out with Guardiola and Guardiola seemingly wanting to turn him into Ngolo Kante further up the field, a fixture list that looks like a football version of Piccadilly Circus and it’s a recipe for mass panic.  Even I’m thinking of a 1 week transfer swap with Ibra.  Thats how messed up the situation is.  The other side of the equation though is that there is nothing wrong with the underlying stats, whether they be last 4 or over the season.  Thats always a comfort blanket.  It may not always be guaranteed warmth but it’s better than not having a blanket at all.

West Brom (A)
Middlesbrough (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Burnley (A)
Chelsea (H)
Leicester (A)

STERLING

Everybody’s favourite pantomime villain has now blanked in his last 3 and suddenly the Guardiola transformation has suddenly disappeared and were back to the man with no end product that so frustrated us last year.  On the plus side he’s been remarkably rotation free.  Only  not playing 90 minutes in 2 of the 9 PL games and only missing 35 minutes in those 2.  Unlike Aguero there’s no underlying stats to point to which show everythings going swimmingly really and it’s only a matter before the returns roll in.
