Here’s the fantasy premier league gameweek 12 FFGeek team. As usual we go through the transfer(s) and the dilemmas/issues faced. We also talk through the team selection issues and the captain choice

Firstly here’s the team. The transfer was Liverpool LB Gomez out for the new Liverpool LB Alberto Moreno.
Transfers
I’m reasonably satisfied with my front 7, obviously not Shaqiri so for one week there’s no need to make a transfer in that area. Defence though is another story. It wasn’t helpful that Darmian gets suspended for the home game against the worst attacking team in the league. I would have liked to in an ideal world saved a transfer so if Aguero is fit after the international break I can do so without an 8 point hit. However with Darmain suspended that left me with 2 defensive players and even Richards isn’t certain to play (although home to City not playing could be beneficial). I could have AOA chipped it but it’s just to dire to ignore. The defensive player to transfer out could have been 1 of 3. Targett and Gomez are the obvious 2 with the first permanently losing his place and the other out long term with an injury. Darmian who is suspended and subject to alot of being left out and early substitutions is on borrowed time but it made no sense to get rid of him given that the other 2 are permanently out. In the end I went for Gomez as he costs more and I guess in theory Bertrand could be injured in the future or over the international break to give Targett an avenue back in. So Gomez out who to come in. I didn’t really want to double up on the defence of Man Utd. So my next priorities defensively are Arsenal and LB Moreno of Liverpool who is great value and has the best creating chances stats of any defender. Arsenal with Bellerin injured and Koscielny doubtful up against an in form Spurs has to be a worse bet than Liverpool home to Palace so Moreno was the target.
Team Selection
Couldn’t be easier. With only 3 defenders playing they pick themselves. I also wouldn’t let Shaqiri any where near my starting lineup so the front 7 also select themselves.
The Captain Choice
Need to do an article next so haven’t totally decided so for the moment I’ll put in Vardy with Pelle vice.
