The Bandwagons ie the 5 most transferred in players so far in the gameweek in order

Charlie Austin

A hat trick is usually a good prompt for transfers in which is what we saw against WBA from the £6.0m QPR striker.  That makes it 10 goals and 3 assists in 11 games since he finally turned the corner on the premier league.  Good shooting stats shows it’s no fluke, although he’s more of a poacher than provider so doesn’t particularly create chances.  Reasonable fixtures after the Arsenal away fixture

Arsenal (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Swansea (H)
Burnley (A)
Man Utd (H)
Stoke (A)

Silva

2 goals against Palace were the reward for a constant advanced position for the Man City midfielder .  However goal scoring isn’t exactly his strong point where he’s averaged just over 5 goals a season.  The 2 goals doubled his total to 4 goals so far this season. It will be no surprise that he’s got excellent creating chances stats but no real shooting stats.  Excellent next 3 fixtures to come though

West Brom (A)
Burnley (H)
Sunderland (H)
Everton (A)
Arsenal (H)
Chelsea (A)

Kane

4 goals and 1 assist in the last 9 games for the £5.2m Spurs forward since he came into the team including 2 in the last 2.  He now looks the most certain to start out of the 3 Spurs strikers.  Doesn’t really have much in the way of shooting stats but seems to have the poachers instinct.  Leicester away next is a good fixture but then it’s Man Utd and Chelsea which for some could be a good selling point.

Leicester (A)
Man Utd (H)
Chelsea (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Sunderland (H)
West Brom (A)

Downing

2 goals and 2 assists in the last 4 returning in each of the games.  Just to put some icing on the cake he got bonus points for each of the returns.  Despite the 2 goals in the last 2 games he doesn’t really have much in the way of shooting stats and both goals were from outside the box.  If you’re buying your also a bit late to the party with Chelsea and Arsenal next.

Chelsea (A)
Arsenal (H)
West Brom (H)
Swansea (A)
Hull (H)
Liverpool (A)

Giroud

A neat 6 yard box finish makes it 3 goals in the last 2 making it 3 in the last 6 (2 as sub) since he came back into the side after injury.  Started with excellent shooting stats and is the focal point of a very creative midfield.  QPR at home next is always a good buy point

QPR (H)
West Ham (A)
Southampton (A)
Stoke (H)
Man City (A)
Aston Villa (H)

The sinking ships

The 5 most sold players so far in the gameweek

Siggy

3 consecutive blanks before being rested against Hull isn’t exactly a recipe for patience.  I wish I could tell you that the underlying shooting and creating chances stats had continued at a high level but he’s never really had any.  Siggy is a player who relies on set pieces and his CAM positioning to get returns.  His high ownership is the reason to be careful about selling especially with Villa at home next

Aston Villa (H)
Liverpool (A)
QPR (A)
West Ham (H)
Chelsea (H)
Southampton (A)

Berahino

Started as sub in the last 3.  It’s a very patient person who holds after that especially with the likes of Kane and Austin firing at the moment.  Man City at home next just to put the final nail in the coffin

Man City (H)
Stoke (A)
West Ham (A)
Hull (H)
Everton (A)
Spurs (H)

Bony

Another player rested against Hull sees the back of a number of FPL managers teams.  Seems a little harsh after 4 goals and an assist and returning in 5 consecutive games.  Great shooting and creating chances stats.  Villa next and the QPR after Liverpool.  Alot of factors against selling.

Aston Villa (H)
Liverpool (A)
QPR (A)
West Ham (H)
Chelsea (H)
Southampton (A)

Aguero

Still not sold him?  Out for 5 more weeks.  It’s time to sell

West Brom (A)
Burnley (H)
Sunderland (H)
Everton (A)
Arsenal (H)
Chelsea (A)

Rooney

Another game in midfield with Mata , Falcao and RVP all in a more advanced position.  For £10.6m and a precious striking slot it’s a rather questionable investment.  Newcastle next though is a good last chance saloon

Newcastle (H)
Spurs (A)
Stoke (A)
Southampton (H)
QPR (A)
Leicester (H)
