Aguero and Delle Alli made the difference although 10 points from Johnny Evans and 14 points for Oscar from 2 different managers were the unexpected highlights. We also see the first sales of Ramsey and the last of the managers buying Ozil before his overwhelming captain vote

These are just not the current top 10 but 10 managers who’ve been successful over the last 3 years. The 10 managers have never been outside the top 10k in the last 3 years (30 times playing FPL). The article is all about giving you another view point other than mine. Also the managers I have picked have been consistent showing they can adapt to different seasons.

I’ll give the FPL managers stats, their GW20 scores and then outline their teams and structure. The stats of the top 10 managers are incredible.
1. The overall average finishing position of the top 10 managers is 1,464
2. The top 10 FPL managers have not been out of the top 10k in the last 3 years (ie 30 times playing)
3. 9 of the 10 have finished in the top 1,000
4. 5 of the 10 managers have finished in the top 100
GW20 average score and rank
The average score of the managers in GW20 was 38 compared to the average of 40. Thats 2 points and 5% above the average. The high score of the 10 was 52. The low score was 29. A very high spread of 23 for the average. 6 had red arrows and 4 had green
The average overall rank of the top 10 FPL managers incredibly stayed at pretty much the same level at 331k from 327k the last gameweek. . The best rank is 23k and the lowest 923k.
If you’re interested my score was just behind the average of the managers at 36 helped by Delle Alli’s goal. That saw a slight drop in rank of 28k to 593k from 565k. I remain ahead of 2 of the top 10 managers.

The average team value rose slightly to £105.9 from £105.7

Simpson is in 5/10 of the FPL managers teams
Butland Wollscheid Hennessey and Kolarov are in 4/10 FPL managers teams

Typically the GK was a cheap GK with McCarthy/Hennesey as a reserve although 4 now are using an elite GK of DeGea and LLoris
In the main 2 or 3 defenders from the group of Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs were in the team. A couple have now followed my lead of 4
The amount of teams with a proper 5th mid has increased to nearly half with the transfer in of Alli
There was a mixture of values of strikers
More and more players over £6.0m are outside the teams of Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs.
The 2nd ranked managers team
Here’s friend of the sites team Utkarsh. Who’s currently the 2nd ranked manager of the top 10 FPL managers with 69k and has bucked the trend of the top managers struggling around the 330k current average. He plays with a good balance of ownership and differentials. Despite having Mahrez in GW1 he started slowly but a 101 in GW8 (the Aguero week) pulled him to 11k and he’s been fairly consistent since then
A combined top 10 team
Here’s a combined top 10 team. With Aguero again the value is again unrealistic at £110m. You would have to sacrifce him or say Ramsey for a cheaper player
