FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE GAMEWEEK 29 TIPS – 4 TRANSFERS TO CONSIDER
Firstly I’d like to say that these transfer suggestions are meant to give you a change that will increase your probability of better points. However there can never be a guarantee of points improvement. So please consider the options and the rationale but ultimately make up your own mind and accept responsibility for your decision.
Remember detailed stats on all players are in the player rankings articles:
KANE OUT LUKAU IN
So a transfer related to an injury for Kane rather than form. Although the club have not made an official statement it appears Kane will be out at least for a couple of gameweeks. Lukaku comes closest to matching him for form and stats. He is also likely to be the captain favourite for this week. The negative comparison is that Spurs have much better fixtures than Everton do.
Here’s their stats comparison:
Everton’s next 5 fixtures:
Hull (H)
Liverpool (A)
Man Utd (A)
Leicester (H)
Burnley (H)
Spurs next 5 fixtures:
Southampton (H)
Burnley (A)
Swansea (A)
Watford (H)
Bournemouth (H)
PHILLIPS OUT KING IN
Again this is an injury related transfer. However form is also a major factor. Phillips looks to be out of GW29 with a hamstring injury. He hasn’t returned a goal or assist now for 5 games. The upcoming fixtures for WBA couldn’t be much worse.
King is currently playing striker for Bournemouth. He has had penalty duties. Whether he does after his miss in GW28 is another point. His hat trick against West Ham puts him in great form to be matching up to the leagues worst defence in Swansea.
Those stats above don’t look to bad for Phillips. Thats apart from the standout of no returns in the last 4 games. Here’s the squawka comparison for underlying stats over the season. This massively favours Josh King
Bournemouth next 5 fixtures:
Swansea (H)
Southampton (A)
Liverpool (A)
Chelsea (H)
Spurs (A)
WBA next 5 fixtures
Arsenal (H)
Man Utd (A)
Watford (A)
Southampton (H)
Liverpool (H)
SNODGRASS OUT SON HM IN
Snodgrass was left out of the team with an injury last week but is expected to be fit this week. Despite an advanced position and some set piece responsibility he hasn’t shown his true worth in West Ham colours. His place as playmaker must be in doubt with Lanzini’s form .
Son looks like he could take the place of Harry Kane as a striker for a few of his fixtures while the Spurs striker is injured. Poch has been talking him up and the hat trick in the FA Cup can’t have done his prospects any harm.
Here’s the stats comparison:
Here’s the Squawka comparison of underlying stats. Son’s are over the season Snodgrass at West Ham. They don’t make pretty reading for Snodgrass
West Ham next 5:

Swansea (H)
Spurs next 5:
Southampton (H)
Burnley (A)
Swansea (A)

CLYNE OUT COLEMAN IN
Clyne is away to Man City. Coleman is home Hull. Not much else needed. However as it happens all the stats are pretty compelling

Liverpool (A)
Man Utd (A)
Leicester (H)
