Here’s the 2nd article reviewing 10 top FPL managers and how they did in FPL gameweek 2 but also what theyre planning for GW3. These aren’t just managers successful now but managers who have been successful for the last 3 years. I’n fact I’ve changed the managers I’ve followed even from last week and now we have 10 managers who’ve never been outside the top 10,000 in the last 3 years. These articles give you another perspective apart from mine. They should also give you confidence if theyre holding or selling a player when you are.

First off all I’ll give the new mangers stats. The we’ll look at team structure and then the transfers made to get an insight into their thinking. Firstly here’s the new stats and as I said 5/10 are the same as last season
Top 10 FPL managers stats:
1. Their averaging finishing position over the last 3 years has been 2,353
2. The 10 FPL managers have never been outside the top 10,000 in the last 3 years. Thats 30 times playing
3. 5/10 have finished in the top 1,000 in the last 3 years
4. 4/10 have finished in the top 100 in the last 3 years
Very impressive stats and consistency, so worth seeing what their teams are doing
GW2 average score and rank
The GW2 average score was 56 against an average of 44. 12 points and 27% higher
The top 10 FPL managers average rank at the moment is not so great though at 411,000

Chester is owned by 6/10 of the FPL managers
Krul, Debuchy, Wisdom and Taylor are owned by 5/10 of the FPL managers
Chambers is owned by 4/10 of the FPL managers
Terry and Jones are owned by 3/10 of the FPL managers

Hull and Arsenal GKS/DEFS have 9 players in the 10 FPL managers teams
WBA has 7 players in the 10 FPL managers teams
Man Utd, Chelsea and Swansea have 5 players in the 10 FPL managers teams

Ramsey and Fabregas are in 9/10 FPL managers teams
Sigurdsson is in 7/10 FPL managers teams

The most transferred in players were

Costa x2
Interesting all 3 had home games the strikers against newly promoted opposition. Chester was in the bandwagons article.
The most transferred out players were;
Jovetic x 2
Giroud x 2
Both these transfers were related to perceived gametime risk. Giroud was a sinking ship last week. Jovetic wasn’t
The average time the transfers were undertaken was the Wednesday 20th August.

Tadic, Bony and Siggy are the only players in the 10 FPL managers teams over £6.0m that are outside the top 4 challenging teams of Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Spurs and Man Utd. Swansea and Southampton have good fixtures
