The bandwagons

These are the 5 most transferred in players so far in the gameweek

Giroud

A goal and an assist in the home rout against West Ham makes it 4 goals in 4 consecutive games with an assist thrown in.  Has excellent shooting and creating chances stats and showed in the West Ham game how good his link up play is.  No GW33 but potential for DGW34 although yet to be announced.  Mixed fixtures going forward

Next 6 fixtures:

Newcastle (A)
Liverpool (H)
Burnley (A)
– Gameweek 33 –
GW34 Chelsea (H)
Hull (A)

Costa

The £11.0m Chelsea forward scored after 2 consecutive blanks in previous games.  Been very consistent this year and this was a step forward to getting back into most peoples teams after he was sold due to his 3 match suspension.  Great underlying stats and has a confirmed DGW34 without a blank in GW33. The only cloud is 8 yellow cards which would result in a 2 match suspension if he gets them before GW32

Hull (A)
Stoke (H)
QPR (A)
Man Utd (H)
DGW34 Arsenal (A)
DGW34 Leicester (A)
Crystal Palace (H)

Henderson

2 consecutive screamers have propelled the £6.4m Liverpool midfielder into the thoughts of a decent number of FPL managers.  Thats even before he’s played in this gameweek.  Whether you buy him depends on whether you think he will be another version of YaYa Toure or Ramsey of last year.  Like Toure of last year he has no history of scoring more than 5 goals in a season has no underlying shooting stats and doesn’t play in an advanced midfield position.  If they beat Blackburn in their FA Cup replay Liverpool will have a blank in GW33 and a potential DGW34

Swansea (A)
Man Utd (H)
Arsenal (A)
Newcastle (H)
GW33 Hull (A)
West Brom (A)

Hazard

I’m still fairly incredulous that there are people who don’t own the £10.9m Chelsea midfielder.  Been very consistent this season in returning, can score big at any time and has very good underlying shooting and creating chances stats to back it up.  Also a confirmed DGW34 without a blank in GW33.

Hull (A)
Stoke (H)
QPR (A)
Man Utd (H)
DGW34 Arsenal (A)
DGW34 Leicester (A)
Crystal Palace (H)

Ki

The £5.1m Swansea midfielder is another player in this group that has yet to play in the gameweek.  Do you think there are people who don’t realise you don’t score points even if you transfer him in before he plays?  Can’t deny recent form with 3 goals in 5 games since coming back from the Asian Cup and has shown a knack for getting into the penalty area.  However last year he scored 3 goals in 2200 minutes and doesn’t really play in an advanced position and has no underlying shooting or creating chances stats.  He’s also in that  group of players that are unreliable to be 4th midfielder and too expensive to be a 5th.  Neutral for GW33 and DGW34

Liverpool (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Hull (H)
Everton (H)
Leicester (A)
Newcastle (A)

Silva

A really poor performance from Man City against Burnley where they moved the ball so slowly it was quite shocking and saw them lose.  The £9.7m midfielder was substituted after 73 minutes although I’m sure alot to do with Barca midweek. He’s still looking pretty consistent and his form with 3 goals and an assist in his last 4 isn’t to be sniffed at.  Reasonable underlying shooting and creating chances stats as well.  Fixtures are good.  City are neutral for GW33 and DGW34.

West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Man Utd (A)
West Ham (H)
Aston Villa (H)
Spurs (A)

The Sinking Ships

These are the 5 most transferred out players so far in the gameweek

Aguero

A blank away to Burnley for the £13.0m Man City forward which makes it 1 assist in his last 3 and 2 consecutive blanks (against Leicester and Burnley to make it even worse) has been enough for a load of FPL managers. Still great shooting stats though and good fixtures.  Also his ownership with the leading and active managers is so high that a sale is not without real ranking risk.  Has pens and neutral for GW33 and DGW34.

West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Man Utd (A)
West Ham (H)
Aston Villa (H)
Spurs (A)

Charlie Austin

Had a couple of chances for the £6.4m QPR forward in the game against Palace but it was a pretty awful performance by his teammates.  Makes it 2 consecutive blanks and thats all any player needs in the competitive forward position to be on the transfer list.  Reasonable shooting stats and for his price has been very consistent.  A blank for GW33 and a potential DGW34 although yet to be confirmed.  Mixed fixtures.

Everton (H)
West Brom (A)
Chelsea (H)
– Gameweek 33 –
GW34 West Ham (H)
Liverpool (A)

Sanchez

Incredible to think the £11.4m Arsenal midfielder blanked in the rout of West Ham and it’s now 1 goal (and that being the only return) in his last 6.  Thats enough to test the most patience of managers.  In truth the game was about Ozil, Ramsey and Giroud and then Cazorla when he came on.  Over the season his underlying stats have been fantastic although they have dropped in recent games.  His ownership has also dropped making him less risky to not own.  A blank in GW33 and a yet unconfirmed DGW34 maybe the final straw.

Newcastle (A)
Liverpool (H)
Burnley (A)
– Gameweek 33 –
GW34 Chelsea (H)
Hull (A)

Cazorla

Played very well and the £8.6m Arsenal midfielder got an assist when he came on.  However it’s his first return in 3 games and he has been playing slightly deeper in recent games since Ozil came back.  Does have pens but the form of Ramsey especially could see him rotated. A blank in GW33 and a yet unconfirmed DGW34 will probably increase the transfers

Newcastle (A)
Liverpool (H)
Burnley (A)
– Gameweek 33 –
GW34 Chelsea (H)
Hull (A)

Downing

1 assist in his last 7 would push the most patient managers over the edge and the form of the £6.5m West Ham midfielder has followed his teams drop in form.  Does create chances but offers little shooting threat.  Neutral for GW33 and DGW34.  Fixtures could be worse though

Sunderland (H)
Leicester (A)
Stoke (H)
Man City (A)
QPR (A)
Burnley (H)
