fantasy premier league gameweek 31 – the early bandwagons and sinking ships

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s the fantasy premier league gameweek 31  early bandwagons and sinking ships ie the most transferred in and out players so far for the upcoming gameweek 31

Bandwagons

Cazorla

This is a but for me and in fact any Arsenal player you haven’t got it home to Reading in preparation for the double gameweek makes sense.  Cazorla was far more central against Swansea and ran the game.  Unfortunately still too many shots from out side the box but he does have the ability to get big returns and get in the box o the counter.  been on the fringes of the overall and last 6 shooting stats .  4 goals and 2 assists in 11 games since his hat trick at Reading isn’t setting the world alight though.  Its still a BUY for me

Hazard

Chelseas fixtures aren’t great but he’s definitely one of the form players for the last 4 weeks with 2 goals and 2 assists and 2nd in the last 3 weeks underlying shooting stats. If you’re looking to differentiate yourself from Mata holders he’s a good call.  Although Chelseas fixtures aren’t great they have 2 good ones before they hit a difficult patch with Saints Away next and the hapless Sunderland at home after that.  For those games having 2 Chelsea players would not be out of order.  Its a BUY for me even if a bit short term but I would buy Cazorla first for the double gameweek.

Coutinho

Not really registered on the recent form shooting or chances created underlying stats but in 4 starts has had an impressive 2 goals and 2 assists.  Liverpool also have the 4th best next 6 fixtures starting with Villa away and then Reading away.  He’s much better value than Gerrard although at £6.8m he’s not Sterling thats for sure.  If youre rolling in transfers or me then he’s a reasonable fixture punt but ot for me at the moment.  Ignore

Sinking Ships

Fellaini

He’s banned for 2 games after incurring 10 yellow cards but back for the double gameweek.  At the moment its my intention to bring him in via my WC for GW33 but sell if you’re not thinking of having him for then.  Inconsistent positioning, sometimes as a CDM makes im a risk, and he certainly doesn’t dominate the shooting stats like he did but still appearing in the tables.  Its 1 goal and 2 assists in 4 games since his double against Villa which isn’t too bad in terms of returns.  He also got 2 bonus points on both occasions he returned which is an indicator of how the bonus system likes him.  I think he’s worth having for the DGW33 and whether you sell now is a function of that and your ability to transfer in who you want.

Michu

in 10 starts he’s only scored against QPR.  a fairly damning stat.  in his 15 goals he’s scored against arsenal and man u but really has a bias towards the easy side.  Swansea have tough fixtures including a blank in GW33 and in the next 8 they play Spurs Man utd Man City and Chelsea.  given that i can understand why people want to sell.  The however he’s producing great underlying stats still and in those 4 easier games returns are definitely on the cards in my view.  He’s just been unlucky unable to hit the target.   On balance with the other alternatives he’s a sell

RVP

Even I’ve started to think about this, mainly because he’s not producing underlying stats at all although Reading granted was slightly better.  he has kept returning apart from GW30 with a goal and 3 assists in his last 4 but its a lot of money tied up.  there’s still the prospect of a DGW in GW33 if Chelsea beat Utd .  The next games below aren’t easy though see below

08 Apr 20:00Gameweek 32Man City (H)
14 Apr 14:05Gameweek 33Stoke City (A)
17 Apr 19:45Gameweek 33West Ham (A)

I’m still holding for the moment as I think returns are possible at least away to Sunderland and while the DGW is still alive I’m holding on.
