fantasy premier league gameweek 32 – forwards “ones to watch”

Fantasy Premier League, Player Rankings

Here’s my fantasy premier league gameweek 32 “ones to watch” article for forwards for GW32.  Again I’ve done it in the new format.  As I said in the previous articles, I’ve now based it around a table of key stats to make it easier to follow.  I’ve put a key at the bottom of the table to show what each column represents although they are in the main the previous stats.  Below the table I’ve shown the  fantasy premier league gameweeks to the end of the season for each player and given a line or 2 on each specifically commenting on gametime issues.

KEY

1.  Rank.  My order of the players with the best at the top based on the stats

2.  Time per fantasy premier league point scored this year.  This is how many minutes it takes for a Barclays fantasy premier league point to be scored over the course of the season.  The lower the better obviously.

3.  Consistency:  The % of times that the player got a goal or assist   as a % of games played

4.  Last 5 points:  The total points scored in the last 5 games

5.  Last 5 returns:  The number of times that a player has got a goal or an assist in the last 5 games played

6.  Fixture ease ranking:  The link is at the bottom of the article but essentially I’ve ranked all the teams by the ease of the first 6 fixtures.  The team with the best ranking ie 1 will have the easiest next fixtures of any of the fantasy premier league teams over the next 6 games.

7.  I’ve also added how many of the top 10 fantasy premier league managers I’ve followed.

1.  Suarez

Has returned to his amazing best capped off with a 25 point DGW.  A must have who can do it all and does week after week.

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
Tottenham (H)
West Ham (A)
Man City (H)
Norwich (A)
Chelsea (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Newcastle (H)

2.  Sturridge

Consistent scorer all season.  Nothing more needed to be said.

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
Tottenham (H)
West Ham (A)
Man City (H)
Norwich (A)
Chelsea (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Newcastle (H)

3.  Rooney

As United do Rooney has a major problem at Old Trafford.  Away from home he’s scoring for fun.  Now playing up top with Mata behind which will improve his returns.  Also now has pens with RVP injured

Fantasy premier league gameweeks to the end of the season:

Aston Villa (H)
Newcastle (A)
– Gameweek 34 –
Everton (A)
Norwich (H)
Sunderland (H)  DGW37
Hull City (H)  DGW37
Southampton (A)

5.  Lukaku

Restored faith with everyone after an excellent DGW.  A consistent returner although has let people down when the captain spotlight has been on him.  Has exceptional talent just can look uninvolved in the game as not a Suarez type all action player but relies on movement to get into scoring positions.  Now is the time away to Fulham to buy for DGW34

DGW34

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:

Fulham (A)
Arsenal (H)
Sunderland (A)  DGW34
Crystal Palace (H)  DGW34
Man Utd (H)
Southampton (A)
Man City (H)
Hull City (A)

6.  Dzeko

Was excellent against United.  A bit of a hit and miss finisher but has so many shots that will always score.  Thats especially the case with the amount of chances being provided by Silva and Nasri.  Has the Aguerto gametime shadow over him though although that appears to have unsurprisingly moved back to being fit next week.  It may also see a phased reintroduction of Aguero.

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:

Arsenal (A)
Southampton (H)
Liverpool (A)  DGW34
Sunderland (H)  DGW34
West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Everton (A)  DGW37
Aston Villa (H)  DGW37
West Ham (H)

7.  Giroud

At home against lower opposition he gets enough shots to score and can come up with big hauls.  Is a bit hit and miss and I mean that literally.  Tricky fixtures in the next 2 games but after that it gets easier.

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:

Man City (H)
Everton (A)
West Ham (H)
Hull City (A)
Newcastle (H)
West Brom (H)
Norwich (A)

4.  Bony

Now that he’s had a decent run in the team he’s been on absolute fire.  Made a mockery of the tricky DGW scoring in both games.  Fixtures don’t seem to matter, he’s scored against all teams no matter what their leaguie position is.  Has pens as well.

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:

Norwich (H)
Hull City (A)
Chelsea (H)
Newcastle (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Southampton (H)
Sunderland (A)

10.  Jelavic

A very lucky goal in the double game week but seems to be putting his nightmare of the latter part of his Everton time behind him.  Like Giroud and Dzeko in that he gets alot of shots, its just conversion thats the problem

DGW37.  No GW34

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
Stoke City (A)
Swansea (H)
– Gameweek 34 –
Arsenal (H)
Fulham (A)
Aston Villa (A)  DGW37
Man Utd (A)  DGW37
Everton (H)

8.  Rodriguez

The cheapie sensation of the season unquestionably.  Prefers the counter attack of playing away.  Has been a secure pick of the managers since the early part of the season.  Playing for a World Cup spot so motivation will never diminish.  Is an injury doubt for GW32

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:

Newcastle (H)
Man City (A)
Cardiff City (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Everton (H)
Swansea (A)
Man Utd (H)

9.  Lambert

Has been left out of the side from time to time but started 7 of the last 8 games.  More of an all round player than Rodriguez able to create chances for others as well as scores goals.  Also has direct free kicks and penalties.  In contrast to Rodriguez Lambert is more of a homer.  Home to Newcastle is a good time to buy

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:

Newcastle (H)
Man City (A)
Cardiff City (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Everton (H)
Swansea (A)
Man Utd (H)

11.  Crouch

The 4 -1 win at Villa really showed Stoke as a team that scores goals and Crouch was impressive with a goal and an assist.  Not the most consistent returner but good value and good fixtures to come

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:

Hull City (H)
Chelsea (A)
Newcastle (H)
Cardiff City (A)
Tottenham (H)
Fulham (H)
West Brom (A)
