The Bandwagons

These are the 5 most transferred in players so far in the gameweek

Giroud

It’s now 7 goals and an assist in the last 6 games and 6 consecutive returning matches for the £8.6m Arsenal forward.  Interesting one though considering he has a blank in GW33 although he does have Burnley (a) next.  Good underlying shooting and creating chances stats prove it’s no fluke.  Has a DGW37 but mixed fixtures

Next 6 gameweeks

Burnley (A)
– Gameweek 33 –
Chelsea (H)
Hull (A)
Swansea (H)
DGW37 Man Utd (A)
DGW37 Sunderland (H)

Rooney

4 goals in his last 5 including a wonder goal against Villa for the £10.7m Man Utd forward in the last round continues his form in his rightful place as striker.  RVP will be back soon but it’s hard to see him being moved given his and the teams form since he switched position.  Tricky fixtures though but neutral on the blanks and DGWs

Man City (H)
Chelsea (A)
Everton (A)
West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Arsenal (H)

Sanchez

The underlying shooting stats continued even through the £11.2m Arsenal midfielders 1 goal in 7 games so in some ways it was no surprise when he returned to scoring in a great performance against Liverpool.  Again slightly surprising given a blank in GW33.  A DGW37 on the horizon though

Burnley (A)
– Gameweek 33 –
Chelsea (H)
Hull (A)
Swansea (H)
DGW37 Man Utd (A)
DGW37 Sunderland (H)

Austin

A strange time to buy the £6.5m QPR forward given that he’s still to play the 2nd game in his DGW 31.  There’s no doubting a great goal and 2 assist performance at WBA but you would feel very foolish if he’s injured in the game tonight.  Thats even before you see that it’s Chelsea next in GW32 and then a blank in GW33?  Don’t get me wrong he’s been a consistent performer this season and has pens but the timing is a little strange to say the least

Chelsea (H)
– Gameweek 33 –
West Ham (H)
Liverpool (A)
Man City (A)
Newcastle (H)

Hazard

I’m still astounded every time I see that there are active FPL managers who don’t own the £11.1m Chelsea midfielder.  He has it all, consistency, the ability to score big, form,  pens,  huge ownership and  a DGW34 where with Costa now a doubt he must be a big captain favourite.  Oh and it’s also QPR next.

QPR (A)
Man Utd (H)
DGW34 Arsenal (A)
DGW34 Leicester (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Liverpool (H)
West Brom (A)

The Sinking Ships

These are the 5 most transferred out players so far in the gameweek

Costa

Out of action now for at least 2 weeks according to Mourinho has seen the mass selling of the £11.0m Chelsea striker.  So no surprise to see what could have been the anchor of everyones side in DGW34.  Remy looks the likely beneficiary but the nightmare scenario for FPL managers is Costa and Remy sharing DGW34

QPR (A)
Man Utd (H)
DGW34 Arsenal (A)
DGW34 Leicester (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Liverpool (H)
West Brom (A)

Forster

More dumping of the £5.5m Southampton first choice GK who is now out for the season.  The good news is that Kelvin Davis the £4.5m reserve GK was picked again for GW31 and now looks good as a bargain for the remainder of the season with good fixtures.  Neutral on blanks and DGWs

Hull (H)
Stoke (A)
Spurs (H)
Sunderland (A)
Leicester (A)
Aston Villa (H)

Aguero

Incredibly it’s 4 consecutive blanks in fixtures for the £12.6m Man City striker which included Leicester, Burnley and Palace.  Whereas some games he was incredibly unlucky and had a number of chances this game was anything but.  Good fixtures, very high ownership and the fear factor given his undoubted class are the only thing keeping people from mass sales.  Neutral on blanks and DGWs

Man Utd (A)
West Ham (H)
Aston Villa (H)
Spurs (A)
QPR (H)
Swansea (A)

Downing

1 assist in the last 9 and no returns in the last 4 make it no surprise that FPL managers have lost their patience.  He also has a lack of shooting stats which means you’ve got a predominantly assist based player which is never ideal.  If you’ve held on this long it must be tempting to hold out for the upcoming fixtures which apart from Man City in GW33 are excellent

Stoke (H)
Man City (A)
QPR (A)
Burnley (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Everton (H)

Cazorla

With a blank GW33 coming up this is a more understandable sale.  2 assists in the last 5 makes him a sacrifice if you’re pressed on numbers for the blank.  Burnley away next so still a fixture you would want the £8.5m Arsenal midfielder in if you have the room in your squad.  Has pens and a DGW37.

Burnley (A)
– Gameweek 33 –
Chelsea (H)
Hull (A)
Swansea (H)
DGW37 Man Utd (A)
DGW37 Sunderland (H)
