10 green arrows for the 10 FPL managers this week. All 10 went for Kane as captain and that saw a pretty good average rank increase.
Ok so here’s our fantasy premier league gameweek 32 tips article. If you haven’t seen this before, this article includes the scores of the top 10 FPL managers as well as the team selection points. These are just not the current top 10 but 10 managers who’ve been successful over the last 3 years. The 10 managers have never finished outside the top 10k in the last 3 years (30 times playing FPL). The article is all about giving you another view point other than mine. Also the managers I have picked have been consistent showing they can adapt to different seasons.
fantasy premier league gameweek 32 tips – analysing 10 top FPL managers
The 10 managers FPL stats
I’ll give the FPL managers stats, their GW30 scores and then outline their teams and structure. The stats of the top 10 managers are incredible.
1. The overall average finishing position of the top 10 managers is 1,464
2. The top 10 FPL managers have not been out of the top 10k in the last 3 years (ie 30 times playing)
3. 9 of the 10 have finished in the top 1,000
4. 5 of the 10 managers have finished in the top 100
GW31 average score and rank
The average score of the managers in GW31 was 82 compared to the average of 56. Thats 26 points and 46% above the average. The high score of the 10 was 92. The low score was 77. A low spread of 15. 10 of the 10 had green arrows
The average overall rank of the top 10 FPL managers took a big upwards step to 108k from 132k in the last gameweek. An increase of 24k. The best rank is 4k and the lowest 276k.
If you’re interested my score was a reasonably one of 83. A good increase in rank to 213k from 266k in the last gameweek. An increase of rank of 53k. I remain ahead of 3 of the top 10 managers. My team value is a disaster though at £102.6m. My aim at the moment would be the top 100k which is around 35 points away. I’ve narrowed the gap by 12 points from last week. So still no need to panic as thats not unobtainable.
The average team value
The average team value of the FPL managers increased to £106.7m from £106.2m last week

Alot of what I’ll say now I said last week, It’s hard to do a comparison from the defensive side as alot of the FPL managers don’t have Alderweireld for example but 9/10 have Spurs defence in their team so still get the clean sheet points if not the attacking returns.
From an attacking standpoint everyone over 50% in the top 10k ranked teams is represented in the top 10 FPL managers teams apart from Payet which is related to GW30 and GW35 where he has blanks.
In terms of team structure then if you follow that as a rule your attacking team will have to have Mahrez, Ozil, Payet, Vardy, Kane and Aguero. That leaves 1 spaces for a differential or 2 if you have a 5 man midfield. The 10 FPL managers have filled that with Siggy, Sanchez mainly over the top 10k
This is also why I speak about defence as a differential as the pool of players and even the pool of teams is far more diverse. This is especially so if you have the funds for attacking defenders.
GW31 Captain Choice
Kane was the captain in 10/10 teams
Hits
None of the managers took a points hit.
How many have used their wildcard/chips
No one has used their 2nd wildcard as yet. 7 of the 10 has used their all out attack chip. You can’t tell until the new gameweek opens if a manager is using their chips.
Transfers
4/10 FPL managers made a transfer
Transfers out
No one was transferred out more than once
Transfers in
No one was transferred in more than once
The most common transfers
No transfer was done more than once
When were the transfers done?
There were 5 transfers in total
1 was done on Saturday 12 March
1 was done on Thursday 17 March
2 were done on Friday 18 March
1 were done on Saturday 19 March
Formation
3-4-3 was done 9 times
3-5-2 was done once
Team structure
Typically the GK was a cheap GK with McCarthy/Hennessey as a reserve although 3 now are using an elite GK of Hart and LLoris
In the main 1 or 2 defenders from the group of Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs were in the team.
The blanks have now increased the amount of 5th mids and now 8 are using 5 proper mids
More and more players over £6.0m are outside the teams of Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs.
Focus on 1 players team
Here’s the top scorer this week
A reasonably template team but with non template attacking players and a 5 man midfield. Sanchez instead os Ozil and then Eriksen and Arnautovic as the other differentials. The defence includes a Leicester player and Bellerin. The rest are outside the template team. He luckily had Kompany injured otherwise may have benched Bellerin.
A combined top 10 FPL managers team
£105m team and a 5 man midfield
