fantasy premier league gameweek 32 tips – FFGeek picks

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s my picks for fantasy premier league gameweek 32 picks.    If you haven’t seen the post before, its just a team for this gameweek.  No other fixtures are taken into account.    The point of the GW32 picks post is just to help you with any last minute transfer decisions.  If you think that someone has a good chance of points in GW32 over someone else than maybe that will swing the argument.  The teams not meant to be affordable either by the way.  Its the best for GW32 despite cost.    The comments are very brief but there’s more stats and details on players in my “ones to watch” articles

Here’s my FFGeek picks for GW32:

Foster

There maybe only 1 clean sheet in their last 6 home games for WBA but anytime Cardiff come to town there’s a good clean sheet prospect.  Cardiff have  only scored 3 goals in their last 6 away visits.

Vorm

Swansea’s defence at home is mixed to say the least but they have got 2 clean sheets in their last 6 home games.  Norwich have only managed 5 goals in their last 6 away games and they’ve only scored more than 1 goal away on 2 occasions in 15 games.

Evra

Aston Villa actually suit playing away as they prefer counter attack to structured possession.  However while United have been poor at home attacking wise they have the ability to defend at home on occasions.  2 clean sheets in their last 6 and 5 clean sheets in their 15 home games again isn’t compelling.  However Villa have only scored 4 goals away in their last 6 games and theyve blanked on 5 occasions away from home in 14 games.  Evra can potentially at least produce attacking returns as well.

Terry

Chelsea have only conceded 3 goals in their last 6 away games and have 3 clean sheets.  Palace have managed 6 goals in their last 6 games at home but they’ve blanked 7 times in their 15 home games this season.  It’s hard to see Chelsea yielding here and Terry is the best attacking threat and first in line for the bonus points

Fonte

Newcastle look particularly toothless at the moment with Remy injured and Cabaye sold.  Fonte is the best attacking option in the team for goals to add to the clean sheet potential

Shawcross

Stoke are a bit hit and miss at home but they have the potential for a clean sheet.  It may only be 5 clean sheets in 15 home games but theyve only conceded more than 1 twice and that was to Liverpool and Chelsea.  Hull are definitely improved with Long and Jelvic but they’re still far from the complete attacking package.

Coleman

You’ve always got to back an opponent of Fulhams for a clean sheet although to be fair their home scoring record isn’t too bad.  However the line is still being lead by a young striker just a few games into his premier league carrer and Jagielka should be back to stiffen the Everton defence up.  Coleman also should either be facing a midfielder at left back or a LB who thinks he’s Gareth Bale. Who ever it is there’s bound to be loads of space in behind them for 6 goal Coleman to exploit

Hazard

Hazard  can get a 20 point haul at any time and although the Palace defence at home is reasonably strong you’ve always got to back him.  Will be interesting to see if Pulis put’s Marappa up against him as well as he could run riot against the former Reading man.   Will have pens if Lamps is on the bench.

Sessegnon

A goal in his last game bar 1 and it’s now 3 games back in the side.  You’ve got to be positive about a home game with Cardiff  who are hopeless defensively. Sessegnon always has a load of chances, he just struggles to convert.  I’m banking on the law of averages giving him the chance to score this GW

Michu

Started his first game back from injury away to Arsenal and has posted some good stats since returning.  It is a gamble but if you’re ever going to do it home to Norwich is the time to do so.  No side has conceded more than Norwich’s 15 goals in their last 6 away games.  Only Fulham have conceded more over the whole season.

Gerrard

Spurs record of the best away defence is long gone with AVB.  They’ve  only 1 clean sheet away in their last 6 and  conceded 8 away in their last 6 games.  Their error prone defence especially if they play a high line is always likely to concede a penalty which Gerrard will be the beneficiary.

Lallana

The Newcastle away defence has never been the best but with Krul, Debuchy and maybe even Sanrton out it looks even more fragile.  Lallana turned around a 4 game blank streak to score against Spurs and will be looking to add further to it

Lukaku

It’s impossible to not have an opponent of Fulham in the line up and Lukaku at the moment is the only attacking certainty for Everton.  Incredibly Fulham have conceded 14 goals in their last 6 at home and have the worst season home record with 39 goals conceded.  With Evertons confidence high from 2 3 goal victories over DGW31 and Lukaku bagging 18 fantasy premier league points and  Everton could run riot

Suarez and Sturridge

Do I need an explanation?  They have both returned a goal or assist in over 85% of their appearances this season.  They’ve produced 96 points in their last 5 games combined.  The opposition especially are irrelevant.  Only nerves as they showed against Sunderlland can stop them.
