Firstly the transfers before I show the team.  I made 3 transfers taking a rare 4 point hit.  Here they are

Sanchez for Hazard

Giroud for Vardy

Fabregas for Albrighton

Transfers

The first objective is to get 3 Arsenal players into the team for DGW37.  Giroud and Sanchez have been my favourite choices plus a defender with Sanchez’s rotation risk being the only negative.  Ramsey’s injury risk really took away the main alternative.  Unfortunately there was no way I could get Giroud in this week without taking a hit.  That left £4.5m so Albrighton at £4.2m was a good choice given his form, value, set piece responsibility and the fact in GW38 Leicester are home to QPR.  A 4 point hit seems drastic at this stage of the season but I thought Giroud was important enough to cover and this also gives me the ability to buy Gomez of Sunderland for Henderson who will make up the points through his DGW.  At the moment I could still get Benteke in for GW38 over Kane but price movements will kill that

Team selection

The first choice was Albrighton vs Henderson.  A very close one I’ve gone for Albrighton due to form and Southampton away seem a better prospect that Chelsea at home especially as Mourinho has been saying that Ivanovic and Terry want to finish the seasoon which will see a determination to keep clean sheets.

The 2nd was in defence.  Given Leicesters surprising defensive form (3 clean sheets in the last 4 ) and Southamptons goal scoring issues Morgan was my first choice among the remaining 4 defenders.  I then surprisingly went for Moreno due to Liverpools good away record and the potential resting of at least Hazard and Costa.  I did think of Van Aanholt due to his attacking ability but I just couldn’t see a clean sheet.  Burnley away needing a win also didn’t strike me as a good option

The Captain

Didn’t even need to think here.  Aguero home to QPR.  No question
