Well after fantasy premier league gameweek 5, which was one of the most worst I can ever remember, I’ve made my transfers for game week 6 and have resisted the real temptation to use my wildcard
I’ve made 2 transfers and taken a 4 point hit. I’m against hits as regular visitors to the website will know as I don’t believe most of the times you get the returns from them. However in this case I needed to take a hit in order to ensure a full line up.
Here’s the transfers made
1. Chester out injured for Nathaniel Clyne of Southampton
2. Benteke out injured for Daniel Sturridge
I would have preffered to put in Suarez but just couldn’t do it.
I did think about the wildcard but some of the players I wanted in such as Michu, Eriksen and Brady had tricky fixtures. Even Kompany has some gametime issues with the Bayern game and also with Villa some clean sheet risk so really the only transfer of Distin had a really good fixture so there didn’t seem any need to jump in. Normally I would use my wildcard for a gameweek with multiple teams playing double fixtures which has been very successful for me in the past
Here’s my team then. At the moment my captain is Giroud with Sturridge at Vice. I would like it to be RVP but to be honest I found Moyes statement ridiculous and meaningless so its impossible to put him as captain as he could end up as a10 minute sib based on that statement
