Here’s a few talking points from the fantasy premier league gameweek review for DGW37 Saturday including Aguero, YYT, Eriksen, Dzeko and Barkley

Aguero
After a stunning start with a goal in typical style playing off the shoulder of the last defender he went off injured after a rather long sit down/ stand up routine. He then confirmed that he was fine:
I left just as a precaution. Fortunately I’m fine, happy for the goal, the win and keeping our dream alive.”
The good news is that it does give some sort of prospect that he will start against Villa. However maybe I’m cynical but to me it looks like the World Cup is far more important than the City title. Do you think we’ll see that sort of precaution in Brazil. I don’t think so.
YYT
Was subbed off after 66 minutes as a precaution apparently. Continued his consistency with the Aguero assist. Played in an advanced role after Aguero went off although this will probably not continue if Aguero is indeed fit
Dzeko
2 goals making it 3 in the last 2 games. The 3 games without a return prior to that seem a distant memory. With a home game against West Ham to finish the season he looks a possible switch if Rooney is still injured
Man United
Bizzare team selection with multiple changes, the ball being moved at a snails pace, defensive lapses, a pitifully slow counter attack and another record for home losses against a teams who haven’t won at Old Trafford for donkeys years. It was like Moyes had never left.
Mata despite his central position was totally anonymous creating only 1 chance. Jones created 4 to put his game into context.
Rooney was injured although Giggs did have some positive news about the possibility of him starting againt Hull.
Remy
The one player of quality at Newcastle got a goal and an assist and took away 12 points against the hapless Cardiff team. It was his first returns in his 3rd game back. Unfortunately an away game against Liverpool next could be a better fixture
Wickham
Another return via an assist after a rather poor challlenge from Fletcher makes it 5 goals and 2 assists in his last 4 games. With the last game home to an “on the beach” Swansea his form could be an attraction for GW38 although you would feel rather late to the party.
Arnautovic
A goal and an assist taking 13 points and it’s 2 goals and 2 assists in his last 4. He also should have pens when Walters is off the field. Last game could be worse away at WBA
Lukaku
No surprise that after failing against lower placed teams especially when in the captain spotlight that he should return to score a goal against Man City. That means he’s scored against them home and away. A consistent returner just a captain risk.
Barkley
A wonder goal and a great performance. Has failed to put that into fpl points though. I assist in his last 6 games and an FPL point every 20.4 minutes is reasonable for the value but there are better options.
Carroll
He may have only had 10 men to play against but yesterday he was at his dominating best although he only had an assist to show for it. Shame the last game is away to City.
Eriksen
2nd consecutive blank after an amazing spell of 4 goals and 5 assists in 5 games. He’s a hold though with a safe Villa at home next.
Weiman
2 goals as someone finally filled the attacking void resulting from the Benteke injury. However it’s worth remembering that it was gameweek 24 when he last returned a goal or an assist and an away game against Spurs isn’t the easiest of fixtures despite their defensive frailties.
Thats it on to Sunday and home your DGW37 is going well.
