Here’s a brief review of Saturdays games.  We look at the lineup surprises, the form players in the game and the players on the FPL radar.  Also we’ll give you the next 6 fixtures to help you decide if you want to make an early transfer.  Remember it’s European week though

Newcastle 1 Liverpool 0

  • Cisse starts for Newcastle.  £4.4m Cheapie mid Abeid makes first start with Tiote injured.
  • Balotelli starts for Liverpool.  Lallana on bench
  • Newcastle cope well with poor Liverpool attack
  • Sterling very ineffective
  • Cisse probably best Newcastle attacker with maybe Sissoko

  • Ramsey again on the bench.  Cazorla and The Ox start in midfield.  Walcott off the bench
  • Arsenal defence comfortable.  Burnley were under siege
  • Chambers a goal and assist.  Sanchez 2 goals and ran riot
  • Welbeck and Cazorla unlucky

  • Costa starts.  Full strength team.  Willian the 3rd midfielder
  • Yun and Vargas start for QPR
  • Chelsea had to work defensively but QPR had few very clear cut chances.
  • Not as dominant Chelsea performance as expected attacking wise
  • Hazard and Oscar the most effective attacking players for Chelsea.  Both score.  Hazard pen
  • Costa ineffective and tended to drift from the centre
  • Fabregas returns continues withan assist.  However little shot threat but continues to create chances and get assists
  • Good performance from Austin with a goal

  • Lukaku on bench. Eto’o starts.  McGeady starts.  Barkley starts. Alcaraz started but subbed early for some reason
  • Siggy fit.  Montero starts over Dyer
  • Sending off distorted the game.  A game of few chances
  • Bony the main attacking threat.
  • Disappointing attacking game from Everton

  • Brady starts for Hull instead of Robertson.  Hull play 3 man defence again
  • Long and Wanyama start instead of Mane and Cork
  • Southampton defence comfortable against Hull apart from early 20 minutes
  • Pelle agains plays well having chances to score and creating them for others
  • Tadic little shot threat but created chances
  • Mane should have scored and was a threat despite being off the bench

  • Moore, Ulloa, Mahrez on bench.  Schlupp not in squad
  • Wisdom and Dawson continue to hold their place
  • Leicester unlucky defensively and dominated game.  WBA played on the break mainly.
  • No standout attacking players
  • Berahino relatively quiet

  • Crouch banned.  Bojan starts for Stoke.  Adam on bench
  • Collins continues at CB with Reid for West Ham.  Sakho injured didn’t start
  • Stoke had the better defensive performance but neither were convincing
  • Goal and assist for both Downing and Valencia who were star performers for West Ham
  • Moses (although not defensively) and Diouf the star performers for Stoke
