Manchester City 4 Spurs 1

  • Man City rest Zabaleta, Mangala and YYT.  Aguero lone striker bad news for Jovetic and Dzeko.
  • Adebayor rested for Spurs
  • Aguero runs riot with 2 pens and 2 goals proving his quality credentials.  Could have had any amount.  Went up in price overnight
  • Terrible Spurs defence could see changes to lineup
  • Chadli poor.  Eriksen easily best of Spurs players
  • Blank for little attacking output from Silva despite CAM position

Arsenal 2 Hull 2

  • Depleted Arsenal side especially defensively
  • Hull go for 3 at the back with Chester starting
  • Despite score this was an Arsenal siege.  Hull had very few chances
  • Sanchez was unbelievably good and got the 3 bonus.
  • Welbeck scored and had a number of chances
  • Diame scored again although should have been whistled for a foul

Burnley 1 West Ham 3

  • West Ham are now an attacking force incredibly
  • Sakho was brilliant and could have scored more
  • Valencia far quieter but scored excellent goal.
  • Downing was very good and unlucky not to return
  • Neither side defended well but the West Ham FBs were brilliant in attack.  Both got assists
  • Burnley poor in defence and attack although Ings carried unsuccessful threat

Crystal Palace 1 Chelsea 2

  • No Costa
  • Game distorted by 2 sendings off.  Azpili will be suspended for 3
  • relatively few chances in the game as Chelsea played possession football.
  • Great goal from Fabregas although he still had little shot and positional threat.
  • Oscar looked threatening and a brilliant free kick goal
  • Good defensive stats from Chelsea but Luis poor defense lead to goal

  • Coleman, Barkley return.  Alcaraz over Distin.  Osman over McGeady/Pienaar
  • Vlaar and Benteke lineup make little difference for Villa
  • Baines the star with 15 FPL points.  Coleman just behind
  • Naismith wider and deeper.  £6.7m Barkley the CAM behind Lukaku

  • Cisse continues good form with assist and should have scored

  • Incredible game where Tadic and Pelle ran riot
  • Mane didn’t start surprisingly although did score
  • The Sunderland defence was woeful and any including GK Mannone could lose their spot
  • Another clean sheet for Southampton
