FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE GW12 TEAM SELECTION – THE FFGEEK TEAM
GW11 points: 45 (Av 44) Total points 619 Overall rank 164k red arrow 22k team value £102.1m
You can see my early thoughts article if you want more dissection over the gameweek but it was another depressing 1 making it the 6th red arrow to 4 green on a 2.4m gameweek rank plus only 3 gameweeks with a rank better than 1m.
However my overall rank isn’t a disaster. I’m still ahead of 7 of he top 10 FPL managers I follow and 3rd in our 15 strong contributors league. Unfortunately the 2 of the alternate FFGeek teams have passed me after they had very good weeks so I’m third out of 5 teams there.
TRANSFER OPTIONS
I’ve got 2 free transfers.
If you remember in my early thoughts article I set out 4 options. I won’t go over them again I’ve given the link to the early thoughts article above.
After much cogitating I’ve gone for the Morata and Daniels option. Once we get to GW14 Chelsea just have a serious number of good fixtures and it was just too difficult not to have any representation especially as Morata has been a consistent point scorer and underlying stats poster.
Daniels is a pure fixture punt as they are just crazy excellent although in truth I don’t like his stats one bit and I like the Bournemouth defence even less. They are good fixtures though and he does look good on TV but I trust stats more than my eyes. It could go well or it could be another Cedric dsaster
I guess I still have the option to get Sane in if I destroy my defence but it was a stretch even then so it would need to see the back of Kane or Lukaku which I’m not contemplating at the moment.
I’m a huge Aguero fan and his stats are just incredible but again it needed a Lukaku or Kane sacrifice or not getting Morata in which I really wanted. Man City have Leicester and then Huddersfield which does scare me but it’s impossible to have everyone at the moment.
So here was the poll vote and thanks to everyone who took the time to do it, much appreciated.

Cedric in Daniels out
CAPTAIN CHOICE
I’m still wavering on this but I’m probably going with Lukaku. I can make a case for anyone of 4. Again here’s the link to my captain article if you want all the detail. If I change my mind, which is very possible, I will at least tweet it
This is a nightmare captain choice where you are forced to use it as a ranking sword even if you’re a pacifist as the options are split. Lukaku will be he closest thing to a ranking shield this week.
LINEUP ISSUES
My only real issue was between Choupo Moting and Ben Davies although assuming Jones is actually injured then that won’t materialise as a choice needed.
In the end I just can’t see Arsenal not scoring so relying on an assist if Davies does start seems a bit wishful.
I’ve put Krul in goal although I don’t expect him to play
