The Bandwagons

These are the 5 most transferred in players so far in the gameweek.

Aguero

Hard to beleive that there are people out there who still don’t own him.  Despite not really creating chances like he did last season he produced 2 assists and lead the line fantastically against Southampton.  Scored or assisted in 9/13 games so far this season and 3 goals and 2 assists in his last 4.  The best underlying shooting stats of any striker and excellent fixtures to come.

Leicester (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
West Brom (A)
Burnley (H)

Jedinak

The £5.2m Crystal Palace midfielder is shaping up as a cheaper version of last years Steven Gerrard.  The man who keeps scoring  from pens. It’s 5 goals and 1 assist in 12 games for the season.  On recent form he’s scored 3 goals in his last 4 games and has shown the ability to score with his head from set pieces as well.  No underlying stats to fall back on it’s really about pens and the odd goal here and there that you’re relying on.  Pretty ordinary fixtures although Villa home next is a good one

Aston Villa (H)
Spurs (A)
Stoke (H)
Man City (A)
Southampton (H)
QPR (A)

Bony

The £8.4m Swansea forward scored against Crystal Palace and could have had more.  Scored in 2 consecutive games now to make it 6 goals and an assist 13 games.  Consistency hasn’t been that great though at in returning a goal or assist in  46% of his games.  Does have excellent underlying creating chances and shooting stats though as well as excellent fixtures.  Anytime you’re home to QPR it’s got to be a good buying time.  Has pens

QPR (H)
West Ham (A)
Spurs (H)
Hull (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Liverpool (A)

Austin

After struggling early on it’s now 5 goals and an assist in his last 5 games for the £6.0m QPR forward.  He’s got good underlying shooting stats as well as good fixtures to come as well with only Arsenal away as a dampener.  With QPR unable to stop conceding he will get plenty of chances as they have to attack their way back into games

Swansea (A)
Burnley (H)
Everton (A)
West Brom (H)
Arsenal (A)
Crystal Palace (H)

Sigurdsson

The £6.9m Swansea CAM was dropped by some FPL managers before the 3 consecutive games against Everton, Arsenal and Man City but he’s now whethered that and those managers have excellent fixtures as a reward starting with QPR at home next.  No real underlying stats to speak of but he’s the central attacking and creative fulcrum of the team plus has an excellent relationship with Bony.  He also dominates set pieces.

QPR (H)
West Ham (A)
Spurs (H)
Hull (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Liverpool (A)

The Sinking Ships

These are the 5 most transferred out players so far in the gameweek

Di Maria

No surprise after the £9.8m Man Utd midfielder went off against Hull with a hamstring strain early in the game.  LVG has said he will miss the game against Stoke although no return date as yet with an assessment still to come.  Thats seen him sold by nearly 150k managers as I write this.  It’s no surprise with GW15 following the midweek GW14 this weekend although Man Utd don’t play until the Monday.  The suspension of Costa also makes it difficult not to sell him and have 2 players of this value on the bench for GW14

Stoke (H)
Southampton (A)
Liverpool (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Newcastle (H)
Spurs (A)

Diego Costa

The £11.1m Chelsea forward has been sold by 110k managers after being suspended for 1 game as I write this.  I’ve had him since GW1 and still see him as a key part of the team and don’t want to lose the £0.3m in cash to buy him back that I will have to fork out.  11 goals in 11 premier league games.  Although it’s 2 goals in his last 4 games.  Very good shooting and creating chances stats.  The fixtures have dipped a bit though.   The question is with so many other striker options can you have someone cheaper in your forward line and cover Chelsea with Hazard or Fabregas.

Spurs (H)
Newcastle (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (A)
West Ham (H)
Southampton (A)

Pelle

No goals in 5 games now for the £8.3m Southampton striker although he has had 2 assists in that time.  Arsenal away next also looks like a good time to sell.  If you’re unsure the good news is that he does have excellent underlying shooting and creating chances which suggest his form will return.  However the negative is that the fixtures remain challenging shall we say

Arsenal (A)
Man Utd (H)
Burnley (A)
Everton (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Chelsea (H)

Krul

The £4.6m Newcastle GK is out for most of the month with an ankle injury.  Most of the time a GK transfer is seen as a last resort especially with the January transfer window getting closer.  However if you started with Krul and Mannone as your rotation pair you’ll be forced to transfer.  Terrible fixtures for Newcastle after the Burnley game

Burnley (A)
Chelsea (H)
Arsenal (A)
Sunderland (H)
Man Utd (A)
Everton (H)

Sakho

The £5.7m West Ham cheapie forward sensation with 5 goals and 2 assists in his 8 games looks very doubtful of making the GW14 game at WBA.  With a number of alternative forward options at the moment it’s no surprise he contuinues to be sold

West Brom (A)
Swansea (H)
Sunderland (A)
Leicester (H)
Chelsea (A)
Arsenal (H)
