Here’s the ranking table in it’s short form.  Here’s the link to the google internet spreadsheet for the full stats tables with alot more info

Remember it’s their rank as a transfer target for this week.  This can be affected by the next fixture.  So  a forward who’s next game is away to Chelsea will have their ranking diminished to some degree compared to someone who’s home to Swansea.

Comments and fixtures are for the top 10 ranked players

The columns are self explanatory.  The fixt ease column shows the easiness ranking of the next 6 and 3 fixtures. Use this link to see the full fixture ease article.

GIROUD

3 goals in each of his last 3 PL starts plus 2 assists for good measure.  Hard to see how on current form he wouldn’t start.  Underlying shooting stats show that this form is no fluke either.  Great 3 fixtures next.  Only question is how you fit him in and whether you want to do a double up if you own Sanchez

Swansea (A)
Burnley (H)
Watford (H)
Chelsea (A)
Hull (H)
Southampton (A)

IBRAHIMOVIC

Returned a goal or assist in each of his last 5 starts.  Underlying stats are excellent and having his gametime managed seems to be reserved for the other competitions not the PL  Tricky game next but 4 good ones after that.  Has Pens.

Liverpool (H)
Stoke (A)
Hull (H)
Leicester (A)
Watford (H)
Man City (A)

COSTA

Mr Consistency keeps on returning.  15 out of 19 games he’s returned a goal or assist.  Good underlying stats too.  No European football limits rotation risk

 Leicester (A)
Hull (H)
Liverpool (A)
Arsenal (H)
Burnley (A)
Swansea (H)

KANE

2 returning games in his last 5 including blanks against Hull and Burnley is a little worrying considering the competition from Alli and Eriksen for your FPL team. Underlying stats are a bit mixed.  Does have pens and a good fixture next

West Brom (H)
Man City (A)
Sunderland (A)
Middlesbrough (H)
Liverpool (A)
Stoke (H)

AGUERO

Scored a quite brilliant goal after coming off the bench which even for Pep the unpredictable him starting on the bench was quite startling.  Did he not know he had just been rested for 4 games?  This is about whether you think his history and underlying stats will overrule the not so great returns and the Pep rotation factor.  2 tricky fixtures next will question whether now is the time to buy.  Penalty duties have to be questioned after YYT took it in the FA Cup with Aguero on the pitch

Everton (A)
Spurs (H)
West Ham (A)
Swansea (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Man Utd (H)

DEFOE

3rd top FPL point scoring forward.  3 goals in his last 2 (2 pens) after just the 1 assist in his previous 4 to that.  He will just not go away.  Good fixture next

Stoke (H)
West Brom (A)
Spurs (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Southampton (H)
Everton (A)

LUKAKU

2 goals and an assist in his last 3 followed a 7 game spell with only 1 returning game.  Tricky fixture next and underlying stats could be better

Man City (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Stoke (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Middlesbrough (A)
Sunderland (H)

STURRIDGE

Gametime is Sturridges only enemy.  His lack of pressing could mean Firmino or Origi could get the nod but it’s hard to see his recent form putting him on the bench especially with Mane gone to AFCON.

He’s scored in 5 of his 6 last starts plus an assist thrown in.

Man Utd (A)
Swansea (H)
Chelsea (H)
Hull (A)
Spurs (H)
Leicester (A)

BENTEKE

Firstly he has a shoulder injury which needs monitoring.  However, if you ever wanted an experiment set up for form vs fixtures this is it.  Benteke has no form. Blanked in his last 5 but it’s hard to imagine the fixtures being better.  So which do you believe in?  Already failed the first hurdle blanking against Swansea

West Ham (A)
Everton (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Sunderland (H)
Stoke (A)
Middlesbrough (H)

NEGREDO

Come into a little bit of form with 2 returning games in his last 4 games.  Some good fixtures coming up too.  Also has pens.  You just have to put aside the fact that he only had 2 returning games in 11 before that and put aside his complete lack of underlying stats

Leicester (H)
Watford (A)
West Ham (H)
West Brom (H)
Spurs (A)
Everton (H)
